BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

At this time every US & APO order has shipped. I have 4 international orders that have not shipped yet due to issues with the customs forms; 2 going to Canada, one France, one Sweden. Once those are done, all the shipping will be complete.

I am left with well over 250 knives. I have not broken even.

As such, if I do a 2025 forum knife I will limit it to no more than 300 pieces.
NOW I'm worried🥺

Spark Spark you should drop the price down to 250 or what ever the early rate was to help get closer to where you need to be and move the remaining knives. I was late to the party and payed the 300 but I’m all in for you to drop the price for others and to help the cause . I know others that got in late and payed more like me won’t mind after all you did with all the hard work shipping and packaging and making this 24 BF knife happen 👍🏻👊🏻 Thanks much ! Again my vote is for you drop the price for others and to help get the remaining moving faster .

Got number #19 in on the 28th.

Not a bad pull and it's hefty, probably won't see any use or minimal though.

I just ordered a second knife...
Hope that puts me in Kevs good books for next ye..oh I mean 2025....But seriously if there's 250 left I thought I would help out....a win win I call it.
Now here's an idea I've been toying with...why don't we ...get it happening as early in the year as possible?...thereby avoiding the xmas postal crisis .

Mail was delivered today for the first time this week, and I found #176 in the box! My wife said she likes the color, so I do too (obviously). Otherwise, all is good. The pulls are what they should be, and there is no sign of blade-to-blade contact. It's a bit large for my taste, so it won't see any use. But I'm happy to have it in the collection.

Mine shows still awaiting item. USPS will not be running tomorrow (because of President Carter's funeral) except for some packages. Not sure if these constitute regular mail or packages...

[Edit: Mine now moved to St Louis center this morning!]

I kind of expected this one would be a slow mover due to the cost, size, and controversial looks.

I am glad I purchased one and hope everyone else on the fence considers doing the same. It’s a great working knife pattern and if I could swing it I’d purchase a second one to use without a care in the world. Easily the most impressive stockman I’ve ever had the privilege to handle. Thank you Spark Spark for making it happen, and I wish you the best selling the remaining knives. It’s not often one gets the opportunity to purchase a GEC stockman of any sort, most especially without a massive headache.

Probably a good idea. I ordered a second one, hope that helps a bit.

I’m one person so I’m aware it means little but I’m honest enough to admit I didn’t love the knife between the size, jigging and colour. I would have still loved to have supported the forum and bought one but at $500 aud plus shipping I was simply priced out of it.

I know you’re at the whim of GEC to a degree in regard to pattern, but a single blade 15, 77, 86 etc. in ebony, cocobolo or any of the popular covers at half the price of this years would sell out 500 knives in no time I’m sure.

#168 has arrived. At work, so no good backgrounds, fetched the package out of the mailbox on my way to work. First mail since Saturday because of the snow; they must have come pretty late last night. And no mail today.
