I made so many hunters this year I've lost count.

1) Aaron Wilburn MS Scagel Style Hunter–sambar stag, stacked leather and ram horn handle. Guard and fileworked buttcap
are wrought iron with nickel silver and red fiber spacers. Hunter’s blade is 52100 steel with rough forged ricasso and spine and temper line.
Aaron created a beautiful custom leather sheath in tooled basket weave pattern and alligator skin trim.

2) Jerry Fisk Blue Ivory Gamemaster Hunter - Perfect example of a Fisk Deluxe Gentleman's Hunter

3) Jerry Fisk Deluxe Amber Stag Sendero - Jerry's Sendero Hunter speaks for itself as it's probably the most copied
hunting knife in existence with the exception of the Loveless Droppoint Hunter. Jerry's damascus and amber sambar stag
model is what I consider the 'Classic' Sendero and my favorite of the many versions he creates. This is an exceptional example
of this model.

I made this hunter earlier this year, it has a blade of 37 layers of white paper steel and 15n20 and a twisted edge of 47 layers of the same material. The handle is stabilised California buckeye burl and the leather sheath has a front panel of grey cat fish leather.

Full Tang Drop point style in 1084 with forced patina and a cast C tek handle. I was very happy how this one turned out.

Karl I really need to get from you one of those hunters with no dropped edge. And every time I see a Bakelite piece from you it puts a smile on my face.

Great submissions all!

!

Roger, you are one of the incredibly few that could get one. My supply has dwindled over the last 10 years to where I can see the end of it. After only a couple more for the rare customer, what remains is mine.

Here are a couple I did this year
#1 Amber stag, bronze and 22 layer Takefu Suminagashi steel

#2 Desert ironwood burl and AEB-L

#3 Damascus and Mammoth ivory

OK, here goes! I consider this thread as a hometown 'parade', and our lucky viewers are sitting in a comfy lawn chair waving at their faves and laughing at their follies. Cue up the marching bands..... :p

#1 Mark Knapp - No folly from him! He's a Grand Marshall.

#2 Kevin Klein - Just a touch of adornments and yummy wood.

#3 Devin Bliss - A dress hunter for a special occasion

#4 Schuyler Lovestrand - Dreamy *artifact* walrus ivory melts in your hand.

#5 Sean O'Hare - ironwood and engraving elevate this useful combo.
