I agree. I'm happy to be getting one regardless, but there's something the long pull adds to the aesthetics of these, especially on the sheepsfoot.

Kind of like stripes on a car. Some look better with them, some not so much.

That's what I was afraid of. We couldn't see the other side tang stamp on the long pulls to confirm they are the BF knife.

No biggie. Better everyone gets what they expected, as some really preferred the nail nick.

Could have just been a test fitting, maybe the BF stamped blades weren't ready to meet their handles yet.
Didn't look like they were finished and there is going to be a companion run of non-BF TCs I believe. Those were probably blades for those.
 
I realize it's not going to happen, but I think it would be awesome if these came with a dark bolster.
 
After the BF knife is completed, which has a Crescent Pull, GEC is making a Sheepfoot Barlow as an SFO for me, with Long Pulls!

Oh well, I prefer long pulls, but I wouldn't kick that Barlow outa bed for havin' a crescent nick. :p

ah i see, jumped the gun on that one, was very excited to see the sheepsfoot with long pull. its that lambsfoot frenzy! hope you and Joanne have a safe drive down from Buffalo!

Can we reserve the SFO in advance, or do we have to wait for the mad rush?
 
I believe they ran the reserve for the SFO with the long pull already and seemingly all are accounted for.
