The following Forumites indicated interest and commitment in putting forth for the 2009 BladeForums Traditional Knife, and have not paid.

The due date for payment was May 6th, and there have been numerous postings as a "virtual" kick in the ass...individual e-mails/PM's were not sent out, and should not have to be.

Names will be removed as commitments are met...if they stay on this list, they are not eligible for next year's Traditional knife:


I would PREFER that everyone live up to their word, and act like adults, but this is what it comes to.

How AMAZING is it that the list that started with 7 is now down to ONE?

I hope they have al least been in contact. I know tgiannes has. How about the rest. I was hoping to get the knife before christmas.:(

Good man. I wish the other people there would post the same. Since there has been no public comms, I really hope that they have been in communication with Kohai and Bastid privately. It does seem kind of unlikely that 6 people have all missed seeing several different threads about this.
 
One of the members hasn't been on Bladeforums in the last couple of weeks, but the others have all been on the last couple of days. I'm sure they all know that the payment was supposed to have been received by May 6th.
 
I buy alot of knives and my reputation is pristine. I'm must have signed up for this one and will gladly pay once I figure out how much and to whom. I think it's wrong to post my name in GB&U without contacting me first. I would have made this right immediately, as I will try to do now.
 
Due to an oversight on my part my payment was sent late, but according to the Forum Knife Payment thread it has already been recieved by Gus.

Yep.. This is just STeven slacking a little.. :D He'll fix it though. :thumbup:

If you don't see your name come off here soon I'd advise sending a PM to him or Gus to remind them.

With the exception of jgkelly, we've still got several slackers on the list still. :(

EDIT:

Just as a reminder STeven and not to be a pain in the ass, to date there are quite a few more handle/names on the master list in Traditional that have not turned green and are still showing unpaid as is noted here on this list of unpaid souls.

Anthony I stand to be corrected but I believe that most of the names that you are referring to are the non CONUS forumites that Gus is covering......

OOOoops, Obliged for the assist and info on this. I never even thought about that. Thanks for correcting me if that is the case. Apology to STeven as well.

Just as an aside, I did happen to email one fellow a while back after the deadline that I've had a few PM correspondences with in the past who is on the list here and resides in the USA, but unfortunately he has not responded back to me although he seems to show up in here on a regular basis, or at least up until about a week ago anyway.
 
FWIW i dont think absinthe has been on in a while i sure havent seen any of his posts lately, not for quite a bit now, we get into it over stuff sometimes but i do hope all is well with him and he just hasnt been on the net for some reason, no illness or anything.

Yes, its he to whom I refer. You are correct about his not posting in a while, however, I found he was popping in and lurking on BF quite frequently after this thread was started.

If he has a problem of some sort and couldn't make the early May 2009 deadline he should have communicated it early on to Gus. They're were a small handful that dropped out. No harm, no fowl.

Yes indeed....Absintheur is often on the prac/tac forum fighting with the Glock and AK guys but I have not seen a post from him for ages.........I hope he is ok:(
