You guys seeing them in your order history? Got an order number but doesn't show up in the history yet?

BHQ's web site didn't crash, but their credit card processor's did. I called them - they will hold the order and keep resubmitting. You (and I) will be fine. :thumbup:

BladeHQ is about 15 miles South of me. Maybe I will drive down there this afternoon and pick mine up today?!:D
 
I just can't believe this "international customer" nonsense...in this time and age, and not that my country is on the list of restricted countries for that matter...from the terms and conditions.

On the contrary, completely believable and justifiable. Off the top of my head, all knife retailers have at least a speed bump on overseas orders, for good reason: they have no idea what the laws in your country are.
 
Blade HQ just commented this on their Facebook page, "Alright I have an update for everyone. Our credit card system could not handle the amount of transactions we were hit with. If you got a conformation for your order but your payment did not go through, we are working to fix it. Your knife has been reserved and we will try to process your payment again today. If we try again and have another issue, we will be contacting you to try and resolve. Hope this helps!"

I don't think so, but this isn't really Spyderco's hunt, or risk. These are exclusives, and the entire risk is on the dealers or distributors that ordered them. Having said that, you'd think that Spyderco would have coordinated with KW and BHQ to try to avoid having these land at literally the same time. Other than that, the dealer places the order, pays for the run and takes the market risk.
 
Just hung up with them. If you got an error payment notice it's their CC system. It crashed.
Everyone that got that e mail don't worry. Chelsea told me records of orders are saved and when their system comes back up your card will be charged.

My card was charged but I was still sent an email saying there was trouble processing my payment and there is still no order in my order history :/

I'll just trust that this all gets sorted out, but I placed an order for 2 PM2s and the website said it didn't go through so I placed an order for another 2 PM2s and that time the order went through and I received a confirmation number on the website. After the dust settled I received 2 emails reporting cc errors on both orders - 1 for the first order for which the website said didn't go through and 1 for the order that I received a confirmation for. I'm afraid this has happened to more than I and people may have the potential for receiving more knives than they actually desired. Just FYI...
