I kinda want this knife. And from reading this thread, it seems they are in high demand, and keep going in and out of stock. I might just have to get one, just because. I agree that as a user this knife will age well. A used Jade handle with a patina m4 blade might be pretty sweet.

I might just wait and buy a used one down the line sometime. Still thinking..........

I hope you grabbed one - it seems likely that even a used one will cost more than the BHQ price.

USPS has mine but has not updated the delivery day. From UT I expect Monday. Maybe Tuesday.

The price on this was the real killer for me. I've eyed a PM2 for years but never ran into one in person. Sprint runs I always missed. Saw this one and loved the handles and want to see the steel. It's not a whole lot more than the standard config.
 
The free shipping was first class, not priority; so I have no idea when to expect it. (I've had First Class from TX take over two weeks:eek: )
The only real down side to that is not knowing in advance what day I'll have to be here to sign for it.

I did get one - I think right before they sold out. I have a plain jane black with satin blade that I've used quite a bit, and is still going strong! I'm thinking the Jade M4 is going to replace this one. Oh, I did get the Orange w/ black blade Cutlery Shoppe PM2 also, but that one is still NIB and kinda a safe queen. I had intended on using CS Orange as a replacement, should my user ever get lost or broken, but I think this Jade M4 will be my next user.

Why would you have to sign for it? I'm pretty sure I never have had to do that ordering from them..

I bought 2, with the intent of giving one to a friend, and my tracking states Signature Required.
 
Yeah it must just be on multiples...I have 2 coming individually and neither requires a signature.
