BladeHQ Para 2 exclusive M4 w/ Jade G10

I can't imagine bringing say, 800 boxes(some having 2-3 in the box plus other knife model orders) to the post office or even having that many picked up, lol. How many do you think will get "lost"?
 
Mine will be for sale after a couple years of light carry/use with the market setting the price based on availability. Unless I decide to keep it, which is more likely.

I guess it depends on why you're into this hobby in the first place.

Bittersweet news here. I placed an order for one of the knives originally. Ten minutes later I figured I should really have a second as a backup or a gift so I placed a second order. I received a confirmation for the first order and a payment error on the second. After a couple of emails I found out that BladeHQ cancelled my second order figuring it was a duplicate order. The original email stated that my order would be placed on hold for 48 hours, really not sure how to take this. I am a little bummed to say the least but compared to others I guess I am lucky to have one on the way.

Here is a quote from the email I got.

"As a result, your order is being held for you while we resolve the payment processing. Any duplicate orders or quantities of more than 3 knives will be cancelled."

"Any duplicate orders or quantities of more than 3 knives will be cancelled." is what unfortunately got you. I'm sure there were quite a few people who panicked and double ordered. A phone call probably would have been in order.
 
14hrs after successfully completing an international order as per Blade HQ's instructions (which I confirmed prior to the launch) I get this message.

"Unfortunately due to the overwhelming popularity of the M4 Paramilitary 2 with the Natural G-10 scales, this item is now out of stock and not available for purchase at this time."

I'm pissed, will never buy nor recommend international customers to Blade HQ again. Of course they were popular knives, that's why I got up at 2am to order two.

You would hope that being logged into there website and following several steps that your shopping cart stock might remain until the process is finalised. Apparently not.

Mine should be here tomorrow. I tried calling BladeHQ twice, but the message said they were busy and call back. I never talked to anyone, but did exchange emails.

It is dissapointing, im also in oz and have bought several thousands of dollars worth of knives from bhq over the past few years, previosly to a us address i no longer have :(

You would think that repeat overseas customers could have there cc details saved in the cart and just have the shipping added to the checkout when shipped
 
The issues with international customers are odd. My transaction to ship to Canada was slick as could be.

I guess the lesson learned is that in the event of a special run like this a dry run or purchase ahead of time is a must do if you're outside of the USA.
 
A dry run or purchase ahead of time wont help us. Still have to purchase then email bhq with a order number to complete the purchase.
By then they will likely be sold out
 
I know the 'staggered' Out Of Stock, and then back in stock thing might have been confusing for some people. I know it was for me, but in the end, that approached allowed me to get one of them. I was on the fence about even getting one, but decided to get one when I luckily checked and they happened to be back in stock.

My point is, if someone was REALLY paying attention (at least domestically in the US), there were several chances to purchase one of these. I do however feel lucky to have been able to purchase one myself.

I hope mine hasn't. I placed my order at 10:03 and my tracking info hasn't been updated from "shipping label created" since yesterday afternoon. I know it can take a day or two for tracking info to be updated...is anyone else having the same issue?
 
Funny how it worked out. Wasnt interested in this knife (the handle isnt that good looking to me) and had no intentions of purchasing, however I was aware of the release date and time. I happened to wake up at 9AM and did my usual checking of emails and what do you know, there was an email from BladeHQ saying theyve released it (I wasnt on their wishlist for this knife, because again I did not care), but I thought eh what the hell, ill get online and see if theyre still in stock. Indeed they were and needless to say I purchased one. I did not have any troubles with payment or anything like others have described. LOL.

The first 2 I ordered still show "shipping label created", they were ordered at 9 a.m. The 3rd I ordered hours later days "in transit" with no delivery estimate.

Mine shows arrived at USPS Origin Facility as of a few minutes ago.
 
Mine took 33 hours to go from Lehi to Salt Lake city. Expected delivery Tuesday. By horse drawn wagon I guess.
