I was in SLC yesterday and remembered that BladeHQ was somewhere nearby. Looked up their address and Google Maps showed them about 16 miles from my hotel. Made the drive down to Lehi and found their store. They had a warning sign on the door that said there was a 15 minute limit on browsing.
I went in anyway.
WOW! Boxes and boxes of knives from floor to ceiling behind their display case, several people hustling back and forth putting together knife orders. A nice young lady said she'd send someone up to help me at the counter.
To make a long story short, I spent quite a while talking with a nice young man who was originally from a town not to far from where I live. He showed me plenty of knives and flashlights. Wound up buying an ESEE-4. If you are ever in the area, I'd recommend stopping in. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, plus they seemed to love what they were doing.
I'm planning on being back in SLC at the end of June. I'll definitely make a return visit.
