Love the concept, the objects, and the composition!![]()
It's Old World bad-assery to the "T"...![]()
Sounds like a good time!!I typically wait until the warmer months, but I just had to get out today. Just a little over 5 miles and only up to right above a couple of thousand feet, but one that's not still buried in snow. Still, icy and snowy enough to require spikes from the halfway point on up. I wasn't able to get many knife pics, as the winds at the peak were gusting around 50mph or so. I'm really itching for the spring thaw and summer hiking season, but this was enough to get my fix for now (honestly I prefer being back home in FL kayaking this time of year). A great day nonetheless, my son even skipped school to join me since the wifey is out of town

I am with you there!! I do most of my hiking during the week to avoid people!!Same here in northeast Ohio, but that's the perfect hiking weather for me. Fewer people makes hiking much more enjoyable in my opinion.
There's nothing worse than to hear the breeze through the leaves, the running water of a nearby stream, the chirping of birds and playing of squirrels and chipmunks, only to be ruined by the annoying squawking of some oblivious stooge on their cellphone.
My heart is in the same place, my friend.Same here in northeast Ohio, but that's the perfect hiking weather for me. Fewer people makes hiking much more enjoyable in my opinion.
