Pretty much all of South MI is flat. I don't even know that I would consider much of the LP hilly, but maybe in a few select areas, but certainly not a lot of it in one spot that I can think of. I there are some individual hills, but not like other states or some of the areas in the UP that have some decent elevation along the north side.

Mt Whitney two day hike from portal!

Congratulations on making that summit - it's a rarefied group of only a few that can make it to the top of the highest peak in the lower 48. Truly, great photos, too.

You'd be surprised how often I'm slogging up a mountainside trying to get into a nice valley wishing for flat areas to roam LOL

Northern Italy, the river is called Tanaro and it flows across the city of Alba, where I live. Alba is known around the world for the International Alba White Truffle Fair, which is being held as we speak

Looks cozy. This summer I gave up hammock camping because I got fed up with the combination of random terrain that doesn't hold stakes (and then swallows them) and winds blowing out of satan's butthole after exchausting hike.
Maybe I'll try again if some glamping scenario comes out.
Still love hammocking though!

Went for a walk this afternoon, got in 5.2 miles.

Blade for the hike was a Stretch 2 in K390 blade steel.
