Was going to go to a stream to try some fly fishing, but the wind was 20mph and just the right direction to make fishing the stream really unpleasant. So instead I went for a 5.5 mile walk. That was probably the better choice, feels good to be getting some regular hiking in.

Birthday hike today. Only 4 miles, but that's not too bad all things considered. It was 20 degrees with a bit of a breeze and a light coating of snow in most places. Not the most inspiring hiking weather, but by no means reason enough to stay inside.

Le Thiers looks incompatible with the wild while hiking, but it seems attractive when cutting fruits, coz girls come and say: what a beautiful knife!
