Photos Blades on Hikes

We've had some pretty crummy weather for hiking, lots of cold and rain - I try not to hike when its raining/has rained, as it tends to tear up the trail, so we've been hitting the beach, but this morning Maine went back to winter mode and was 23°F, so the ground was frozen again:

Chilly day, but too wet and muddy for the trails, and actually took time to take a photo of our beach "hike" - I do about 3.5 miles, he likely does something like 5+ with all the running

10.7 mile hike this afternoon... longest one I've done in quite a while and it felt good to do a long hike.

It looks so flat but I recorded 1781 feet of uphill during the hike (the trails are in the river bluffs, not on the nice flat bottom ground).

Kind of miserable today, started out at 41°F with a light drizzle (weather folks said 25% chance of rain), then when we were about 1.5 miles into our hike, it started to just come down... turned around at that point, and as we got back to the truck, it went back to a light drizzle, just one of those days, lol - and my camera clearly didn't want to focus on the knife:
