Nice day today at Blade Show, Dave. Heirloom is great, went there before a Braves game a couple weeks back.

It's funny, I guess that there isn't any knife in the place that I'm going to line up for and then rush to a table to throw money down. If there's a knife I want that bad I'll be talking to the maker at the show and working out a deal to have something built and delivered. That's not true of everyone I guess hence the absurd line. On Saturday I typically time it to show up about 15 minutes after show start, stroll up to the ticket booth, purchase my ticket and wander in no waiting required. For those of you that are standing in the line I hope it all works out and that your patience (impatience?) is rewarded by you finding exactly the item that you wanted.

Yeah, I dont do lines. I can't think of anything I want or need bad enough to stand in a line and hope to possibly get a chance at it. I can wait or do without.

Hope everyone has a good time though and find what they're looking for.

I think I can make it back today, would look for items from knife makers tables that I would not otherwise know about or find that aren't mass produced. Have a nice day.

*edit (added): the line after early bird looks worse than it is (well it is very long but moves fast). I was back in the parking garage, they scan the ticket and give wristbands at that time, so when the line moves, it is just walking in. Most times I sit and wait for it to pass, like Triton said, and walk in (with advance ticket).
