BladeShowGanzaaaa 2015 Pics, Specs, with Ordering Rules and Procedures

I would say a diehard Busse fan would get a FB page!

Nope. Already a member of 3 Busse message boards and this one. We shouldn't need to deal with stupid a$$ FB too.

I understand Busse having a page there and advertising for free that way. I just don't like that we have to join FB now just so we don't risk missing out. I mean we are all subscribed here already. Let's keep the Ganzas here.

I understand your frustration -- I will say though -- it would be pretty cool if a lot of us connected through Facebook -- in some ways it could possibly bring the family closer together. Just my 2 cents. :)

Agreed ^^^^^

This will be my first one.
I heard about it on the Facebook page.....

I'm on Facebook so I can see pictures of my son when I'm at work. And it's nice having a news feed filled with knives and knifemakers posts.

If you don't wanna be on Facebook, that's fine man, but it's not exactly a terrible idea, or a travesty or something

Like I said...I understand them advertising there but we shouldn't have to sign up to yet ANOTHER site to not miss out. A lot of us are already members of 4 sites for Bussekin. Now we have to go to FB too when some of us have proudly avoided it.

You don't have to. It's pretty unlikely BFC will be down at the exact time the GO post is made.
But that is one benefit of Facebook, isn't it? It's pretty much never down.

Just make an account using some random email address and don't add any of your friends or family, only the Busse page.
I admit, that is a pain in the ass solution, but if not missing out is that important to you...

Have their been major issues in the past...? Yall seem pretty worried here.

Rookie lol. Bladeforums always crashes during a Ganza.

That's why I asked if there had been issues in the past...
Well good thing I'll be getting my order in via Facebook then! You can lament how some rookie stole that one you wanted :P

I get it though. Point of pride and all that. You're too cool for social media, except knife forums.
Since this is my first Ganza (and I really wanna snag a few of those Red & Black cerakote ones) wish me luck!

Has nothing to do with being too cool although you might be on to something there. I have better things to do with my time than sift through piles of garbage and advertising. I'm no newbie to social media. I live 5 minutes from Facebook HQ as a matter of fact. And don't worry about me. I won't be lamenting missing out. I have plenty of INFI to keep me warm at night.

Is #57 sabre ground? I can see that #58 is but the camo finish makes it hard to tell.

Oh man I didn't notice the FB part. Come on Busse, lay off the FB crap. We aren't a bunch of 13 year old girls here. Die hard hogs are on this forum.

I would say a diehard Busse fan would get a FB page!

Not this one... I bet others would agree too

I don't facebook. :thumbdn: Some nice choices tho...

Just say NO to Facebook !!!

Agreed^^^^^

JUST SAY NO TO FACEBOOK!!!

:thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:    :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:

I will NOT join Facebook, not even for Busse, sorry. :grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy: I sincerely hope this is not the direction Busse is headed. :barf:

It is simple; Just make the Busse Knife Group FB page PUBLIC so that everyone can see it! That way those of us that REFUSE to sign up can still see the "GO" posted there without having to sign up for an account.

I highly doubt there will be anyone that stumbles across the Busse FB page and decides to order a knife without coming here first. People that spend this type of money for knives, do their research first. Seeing that a ganza through FB isn't likely to bring in any new customers, why do it? It just makes it harder for us adult men that see FB as childish, to get the knives we want. If BF doesn't crash, sure all is good, but we all know the drill.

Someone posted earlier in the thread that this isn't a bunch of 13 year old girls here but a lot of you are sounding like it! The whining is at a fever pitch. Don't sell FB short, there are A LOT of good gun/knife/hot women pages there to enjoy. Some of them even have hot women with guns and knives! What's not to love about that?

Proof will be in the pudding whether FB nets a bigger audience than BF. Given that most offerings have been offered previously, this seems like a reasonable time for Busse to test a slightly tweaked model to see whether it nets a significant following.

All that said...I'm excited about some of the epic offerings being brought back at shop prices. TTKZ, AK's...yes please! And, what's not to like about a CGB8.

With a big family vacation coming up, I'll be sitting this one out as well.
The good news, is that I convinced my wife that I don't need to sell that new AMS I just got :).
As far as Facebook, I agree with Spyderphreak,, make the page public so anyone can check it, but not have to subscribe.
