Blasted a Battle Saw

Looks sweet....I have access to one also and have been very tempted to use it on a blade.

I love how clean I gets the steel, and if you decide that you don't like the frosty look, a couple minutes with some steel wool and some polish gives it a nice semi-polished look that resembles an ultra clean Comp finish.

That looks really good! Definitely something I'll keep in mind, should have access to a cabinet.

Darn, still tiny pic. :( Must be your PB account settings on the upload size? Unless you took the pic that size, in which case you're SOL... Odd otherwise.

Yeah, a media blast is by far and large the fastest and easiest way to remove the decarb, no doubt. Especially on this beast, which has not only the CBT, but the TEETH!

That looks awesome. I'm not a sawtooth guy either but I'll make an exception for the Battle Saw.

Did somebody say small pictures?

OP, great looking Battle Saw. Haven't gotten the courage up to strip mine.

Bump for the proper sized photo now that you have you PB account photo upload size settings fixed! ;)

looks good. Your phone loaded the pic at a much smaller pixel size. Prob due to bandwidth issues. I would love to see a larger pic

Not really. The bag just said "general purpose"

how rough does it feel to your hands. If it is fairly rough it is likely 220 grit. I use 220 to remove coatings and I finish with 320 for a slightly smoother finish. Very fine grit.
