I think the idea of a Blessed-Blade is pretty awesome! But to be honest, I think you're the only person on this forum that is c̶r̶a̶z̶y̶ awesome enough to pull it off:p:D

yes, several. Many years ago I was on ordained minister. Blessed several to be use for good works and aiding others. Now just add them to my collection, but pray I don't loose a finger sharpening them:-)

The head of the Anglican Church can bless her own blades.

A very religious customer of mine from when I had a knife shop had some of his knives blessed by his priest, and gave him a SwissChamp. The priest actually EDCed it under his robes.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but I'm not a religious man.

Nope -- just my motorcycles. ;)

Now that I think about it, though, maybe we should start offering a blessing as a value-added service. :D

I did do that "officially" with one blade a long time ago. But mine belong to a clergyman and are intended only for good and helpful purposes when they join the family. That's about as consecrated as they get nowadays. Blessing anything isn't magic. It's the intentions of the user that matter.

I dunno... I'm pretty sure blessed knives deal critical damage to unholy creatures if you roll greater than a 5 (D8) on the initiative roll.

Hell no.
If they start holding an edge better or something let me know, and I may reconsider.
:p

Holy cr@p mike!
You certainly are well equipped
to handle things that go bump in the nite now.
What's next?
Moonlighting in exorcism or vampire slaying?
Or a sacred stint to deliver stern messages from HRH the Queen
To heartless heathens?

That's interesting. I didn't know you're interested in traditional folders since they are usually so small.

On the knife blessing issue, I'll pass.

I do have a couple knives that might need an exorcist however.

Gotta have a sheeple friendly folder when carrying what I do.

Charlie Mike, You certainly bumped up a notch in my book. I always felt you simply didn't care sheeple friendly or not. It was one of those.... it's legal, the hell with what you think kind of thing. I guess you tend to show the big ones because they show well and that's generally what you're making.

Those traditional folders are infectious. There always seems to be another one that catches your fancy.
