My doctor also told me that taking fish oil with meals lowers BP for many people. I've been doing it for a few months (in addition to all the things mentioned above, but that I was doing always) and I am back to normal.
Wiping and oiling my knives seems to lower my blood pressure. At least I feel better about the world.
Seriously though, I have some kind of Adrenal gland condition that makes my blood pressure sky high. I have to take four different pills to keep it under control. :barf: I'm like an old woman. I'll tell anyone my aches and pains if given half a chance.
With most folks, exercise and diet can go a long way in controlling BP. But check with your doctor on what's best. Unless he's a quack. Then find a new doctor.
