This batch arrived today from K&G I did a little cleanup and all are being shipped today 8/16.
These are all currently at K&G being stabilized. They should be finished shortly
I talked to K&G today 8/9. They will be shipping these to me 8/10. As soon as they arrive all ordered blocks will be sent out priority mail.
This batch of blocks will be stabilized by K&G. Things are being done this way at the recommendation of several of my regular customers.
I will be sending extra pieces to be stabilized along with these. Those of you making your purchase this way through this thread will be saving about $5 per block you purchase.
The blocks in this batch are some of my best buckeye burl. The photos show the blocks belt sanded to 100 grit so it may be difficult to see just how nice the figure is in these pieces. This wood will get a bit darker when stabilized and finished. With buckeye the figure will really jump out when fine sanded. You are in for a pleasant surprise.
This thread will be kept open while these blocks are out for stabilizing. This afternoon, 7/26 the batch will be sent to K&G for stabilizing. Their turn around time will be about 2 weeks from the time they receive them. The blocks will then be sent back to me. Within 1 day I will divide the blocks and send them to the buyers.
These will need to be purchased using Paypal as the method of payment. This way I will have a paper trail that will prevent any mistakes without a lot of extra effort. When you send payment please use the notes section to tell your BF user name and the blocks you are getting.
I can cut a block into a pair of equal size scales at no charge. Just make sure to note that in your post. These all come with a No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee.
