Yesterday, I received notification that the USPS had attempted to deliver a package to my house, but was unable to leave it due to no one's being present to sign.

I hopped in my Jeep and started running down Mail trucks until I located the mail carrier/truck with my unexpected package.

From Germany.

Inside? One of these...

The striations in the blue micarta, lending a wonderful overall hue, are more subtle in most everyday lighting:

I am blown away and baffled by this incredible surprise!

This is a 'real-sized' knife (in contrast to my many wee fixed blades). I feel I should go process my, uhhh, backyard or something.

But mostly, I want to say thank you, and I have no idea to whom(!). One of you gots me good!

Wow, is this fine....

Okay, it's someone else's turn. Someone needs to SAY.

(Thank you.)

Nice surprise!

It's a great knife, and a great BLUE!

But I didn't do it!!

Very nice knife!

I'm hit or miss with blue handles (or blue mammoth, etc for that matter).

That handle is a hit!

Nice! My son would be very jealous... He loves all things blue--especially his small slippies in varying hues of blue. You certainly have a good looking blade there--now all you have to do is prep some meat and make a small fire to roast it.

Enjoy the wonderful surprise!

This thread just made me lose an hour going through Linder's shop-nice😎😁👍

You've got an admirer Sarah! Nice blue hunter. It'll work nicely for camp duties also.

What a gift! I am not normally a blue fan but the grain on yours really makes it a looker:thumbup:
