I ordered the blue for 179 or 189, whatever was on the site. And the brown for 135. FWIW.

Sometimes you can manipulate a shopping cart to tell you how many units are in stock, but that method is not always reliable as in this case with BB. Late last week when I ordered mine it totalled up anything I put in the quantity field. Obviously they didn't have several thousand since they are out of stock a few days later. I received mine yesterday as they shipped it the same day I ordered it. Excellent service in my book.
I was pretty nervous about ordering from BBS at first, but I've ordered from them twice now (pre-ordered the M390 Para 2 last month, and then ordered another one last week as a safe queen/backup), and both times they were shipped extremely quickly.
One thing I was surprised about, though, was the difference in the two Paras. Both had centered blades, even grinds, etc. However, the pre-ordered one has much smoother G10 and the backup I just ordered had its blade sitting much lower in the handle. I was a bit surprised, but both are great.

I agree 100%. I ordered my Blue M390 on Saturday at noon and received it on Monday at around 1:00. I was amazed at how fast they ship. The knife was also well-packaged and flawless.

Has anyone else had a shipping issue with this knife or the site? I ordered mine on Saturday evening and it claimed 1-3 day shipping. It's now Friday night and I still don't have my knife. Leaving a bit of a bitter taste about ever ordering from them again....

Have you gotten notification that yours has shipped? Mine shipped on Monday but I still don't have them... mail seems a bit slow even though the holidays are over.

Get the tracking information. Every package I've had sent via USPS in the past six weeks has been fouled up by USPS. I'm waiting on something from Brownells right now that shows that the USPS sent it clear across the country to CA on its way to me in MA, and two Express Mail packages have been delivered late, one almost a week late.

Yeah, just saw that one, too. $305 with 23 bids, that's crazy. It makes me afraid of what buying the CTS-204P exclusive is going to cost secondhand.

The one I was referring to I belive was an auction that had no start price. All the "gouging" was done by the bidders. The secondary market will pay what it pays I guess.

'zacly. You can't force people to be gouged in this arena. People make their own decisions...there's no one compelling people to pay these prices. It's not a kidney for your child.
The aftermarket on the blue and orange PM2's is pretty amazing, but the aftermarket on the S90V versions is incredible.
