Elliott,

I am so glad you and Tina had a wonderful time at Blade this year. Knowing that the time leading up to it was maybe a bit less than grand anticipation it looks like you made up for it with some really nice knives:thumbup:. As has been said in this thread and many times before you have a "knack" for gravitating toward well made, unique knives.

I am also honored you picked up that Ivory Wharncliffe trapper on the second hand market. I can not think of a better home for it.

Ken

Killer scores! Tough to pick a favorite but I love the blade on the Tracker.

Those are ALL beauties Elliott! You have great taste in knives.

I'm particularly drawn to the Chamblin Remington and the Halfrich Trapper. Being that stag is my favorite handle material might have a little something to do with that.

Thanks to Ken Erickson, here are some images that show his knife in a much better light than my paltry images earlier in the thread (which I have now removed from post #2 and replaced with these):

It sure is nice to have you guys validating my taste in knives, patterns and makers.:thumbup:

:D:thumbup:Those are just super knives for sure. That Joel Chamblin was out of this world in hand. Great seeing you at the show:thumbup:

Just a great line-up of folders there, Elliott! It was great seeing you again at the show. Your folder knowledge comes shining through with your new posted purchases. And a Rogers for a 2010 show kicker! Good stuff.

I really liked that Tracker. Great size, awesome knife. Glad I was able to see that one in person.

Jerry always seems to have his new designs in use. I picked up his first LB-5 with a modified spearpoint at A.G.'s show last year, and yes, it was in his pocket. :)

Can't wait to see that sowbelly stockman!

I am always jealous Elliott when I see your knives. Great knives all around but that Chamblin really speaks to me. Congrats. And on an off note...do you spell your name Elliott or Elliot? I see it both ways and was just wondering. Anywho those are great scores. Good work.

Glad you posted more pictures of the Eriksson trapper. I like that imensly. All work of Kens seems to me to be on top of most knifeartwork. And you blues own my wery favorit pocketknife I ever saw.

Corey,

You can probably get a pretty good idea just by checking my signature. ;)

And thanks to all of you for chiming in with your comments. Makes my day for sure (and I'm betting that the makers are feeling duly proud themselves.)

Ha ya you know I've seen that so many times yet it completely skipped my mind to check there, where it is most obvious. Sorry about that. But if it makes you feel better, your knives you got are STILL great.

I'm green with envy! Great knives!
Couldn't make it to Blade this year but I'm already saving my pennys for next year.
Good job Blues
