Blurple manix 2 in s110v

I pulled my Manix out of my pocket, and asked my wife what color the scales were.
She said bluish purple.
I asked her if blurple was a good name for it, and she said.... Perfect!
It's either in my hand or in my pocket, so I don't see the scales much.
The S 110V blade is the part that makes me happy.

it's violet.
Yes we should use that because saying "violet" is ever so much more macho than saying "blurple". :)
I have my blurple Para2 right here as I type this. Hey . . . I said blurple a couple of times (three times now) and I'm not noticing any physical or psychological damage. I might say it again . . . just to temp the color police . . . I don't know . . . there is no telling what I might do next now that I have gone wild . . .

As a former US Army soldier and Drill Sergeant, I'm not concerned about how masculine I appear to others. . . . I have a blurple Manix and . . .I was actually planning on buying some of the other blurple Spydies...

We have a "blurple" and a "spydie" in the same paragraph by a manly man so it is finally official.
Turn off the klaxons . . . everyone disperse . . . it is just fine to say blurple or spydie.
Good !
Glad we finally got THAT out of the way.

Is it pretty normal to find differences like that among the same knife but different scales/blades?
I've only had the one Manix (S110V LW) but I have several Para2s and yes the pivot varies in all of them.
Have you tried just adjusting the pivot a bit looser ? I find just two or three degrees does it some times.
I have found in other knives that the accuracy of the holes in the scales can effect the performance of the pivot. Holes in the scales that don't line up with holes in the frame can torque the frame and slow down the pivot.

picked up the last one from an eBay store dealer, wasn't going to drop an additional $133, as I've pulled the trigger on a fallkniven tk2 and a les george galvo (yikes), but after skimming through this thread i got the huge itch, and had to --- this one is in dark blue, lightweight
