BM 740 Dejavoo

I just picked up the larger one and figuered Id search for some reviews here but I guess its to new of a knife. Its really sharp and smooth, feels great in the hand but I think its to light for me. Ill be carrying it daily to find out if its what Im looking for. Im usually carry a Manix or Lone Wolf Harsey so I dont know if this will be able to keep up with them...If anyone else has had a chance to use one please post the reviews....

Well I carried since 3pm this afternoon, it rides great in my front pocket, I dont really know its there.I havent used it yet but maybe tommorow. Glad you like the pics. How do you guys think it would stand up to daily edcing and light camp chores???

We haven't gotten any, but that doesn't mean anything. The Benchmade 14460's have just come out, so hopefully these won't be far behind

Man this knife is just screaming to be made in an axis lock. I'm not all that big on Liner locks but I am looking to find one of these knives in the brick and mortar world. Beautiful looking knife.

Any speculation on why Lum & Benchmade made it a liner lock?

These picture definatly made mighty grace Manix looks bad!!!
All of the sudden Manix looks very "working class" when BM 740 looks all ellegant, Royal, VIP....whatever you wanna put the word, but i think you got my point.

One glance does say a lot already about BM 740

Those pics just make me want one now more than ever. Thanks for the backside clip shot and the overhead shot. Wondered where clip was placed and glad to see a foldover clip. Those liners look fairly thick so lockup should be good. Thanks again!

I was able to get a large and mini from my local brick and mortar. I haven't had a real chance to play with them yet, but from what I have experienced they are very smooth and seem very well built. The mini is a perfect size for me to EDC. The large is a very big knife. I have enclosed some pictures.

The custom one is a liner lock too?
I LOVE the looks, but part of me wants to say no

Point is, Benchmade could have made the Dejavoo an Axis lock knife.
But, instead, working with Bob Lum - one of the best knifemakers IMO -
they made it a liner lock.

It's pretty meaningful to me that one of the best production knife companies,
teaming with one of the best custom knifemakers, chose to use a liner lock for this knife.

Ive been edcing mine since last week and it cuts great. It carries in the pocket like its not there and it just looks awesome.I will use it this coming weekend when we go camping and hope it continues to perform like it has so far. Great job Mr. Lum and Benchmade.

I really really like it.. And will probably buy one. But in the back of my mind, the spyderco issue keeps creeping in... The butterfly instead of a spyder next to the hole just kinda irks me... Still an amazing looking knife though.
