Long since discontinued Benchmade Ares. Recently traded into this when the BM axis lock bug bit me again, but also traded into a Ritter grip and put some Igor scales on it, so this one will not see pocket time. It looks like it has seen a little pocket time by the previous owner, though I have not carried it. The clip has a few scuffs and there are the faintest of marks on the back of the blade that I would be hard pressed to even call scratches. Still, it is certainly not mint. But, it is in excellent shape overall, with smooth opening and no blade play, so all-in-all, a fine example of this fairly rare Elishewitz design.
Now that the ZT and flipper bugs have bitten me, I would like to trade this for a ZT0770, or a ZT0770CF, to which I would add some cash. Also interested in a Spyderco Domino, Boker Kwaiken carbon fiber VG-10, maybe something Kizer. Light users are welcome. +/- cash as appropriate. Feel free to make other suggestions. Thanks.
