BM Mini-axis is the bomb diggy (had to share; received it yesterday).

James, I'm not sure about the sharpening aspect due to the thiness, but the smaller one has no recurve, so that should make sharpening easier.

Thanks for the info. Gary, I'll give it a try on my next post. James, I was reluctant to say whether or not the blade was recurved since mine is serrated. Looking now at the new catalog, even the plainedge appears without recurve.
