BM Red Class is dead - wich one are you gonna get?

Ew on the HD graphics.

+1 They really suck. They'll be bought up by all the 50+ yuppies riding new, factory built bikes that we had to build by hand back in the early 70's. :barf:

I just received my Nagara in the mail - what a nice blade! I think it is the sharpest out-of-the-box knife I've ever seen.

anyone buying this knifes? i have to find one person who got this HD -BM knife.

I do have to add, I'm not talking about this particular knife. But I do have some US made Hardtails, Nightshifts, and HD versions of 960 & 940. I wouldn't buy any of those made in China. Not worth it for me, YMMY.

Knifeworks had the LFK on sale not too long ago for $50, I picked it up and fast, fun user.

I know a guy who purchased a Pika II First Production. It's way cool.

P.S.
I'm a dead man.

the benchmade aphid was my favorite red class knife. it was made in usa despite being red class, but i believe the aphid is being moved to the benchmade line. feels real good in my hand despite being so small.

i found this pic on google images

Indeed, the very association of BM and HD makes me :barf:
I have a Harley Davidson Mini Hardtail Lightweight and hope to get a second some day.

Two of the great U.S. manufacturers together as one. It’s like peanut butter and jelly, ham & eggs, rum & coke, T & A and Benchmade & Harley Davidson.

Like milk & cookies, Mike & Ike…………….

Congratulations, your Aphid is now a Blue Class as is the Rant that was also red last year. One of the questions throughout the year was why? They were booth quality knives made with 440C and in the USA.

I guess Benchmade heard these questions and answered them.;)

none of them.

+1

Except for the Nagara (aside from the blade steel :barf:) and maybe the Monochrome, I wouldn't touch the BM red-class knives with a ten-foot pole.

By the way, does anyone know if the Monochrome is being discontinued or if it's being moved to the HD or Blue class?

Monochrome is now in the HK catalog.

The VEX is the only red class BM Blade I own but I have to say for 25 bucks I dont think I could have bought a better folder.. Mine has taken quite a bit of abuse and still locks up solid just like it did when I first bought it, I would highly recommed picking a VEX up before they dry up... Right now is the time to buy one..
