Made for sticking this one has a four inch sharpened top swedge and 8 inch blade.
The top swedge is sharp but not shaving sharp, it will bite if your not careful.
Heavy handsewn sheath to buck the briars and thorns where hogs like to hide. Here are the specs:
Steel- 52100 X approximately .260 at the ricasso
AOL- 13 1/2 inches
PpHT- Three normalizing heats, double quenched and tempered for three 2 hour cycles
Grind- flat with sharpened swedge
Finish- Hand sanded to 2000 grit then back sanded with 600 grit for a satin finish
Blade- 8 inches to the guard
Guard- pressed on 416 stainless
Handle- 5 1/2 inches Black walnut with black micarta spacer. This walnut was cut back in the seventies, it's been air drying in a cabinet shop since it was cut.
Sheath- Hand sewn from 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned leather, triple welted and finished
