  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

I have a question about the BO112........ Why is the handle not recessed to the point where you can disengage the liner lock with the thumb? I recieved mine in the mail today and for the price it is a nice beater knife. I plan on routing out some of the g10 with dremel tool and see if that works

BAFarmer,

I haven't handled one myself, but I would imagine the handle isn't recessed to prevent accidental release of the lock.

But at the same time it is impossible to close with one hand. I know it is an "economy" knife but I have handled cheaper that had better locking systems. This knife would be so much better as a lock back.

Mr. Mapp is correct, plus, I think the designer
kind of went with the theory that you need it
open fast, but you have all day to close it.
I have better luck, and quicker times closing it with my
index finger.
Thanks, TJT
