One of the many perks of living in TN is next day delivery from these guys.
I like it! Honestly, I wasn't sure about the pattern but it's a winner. It has good snappy action and a nice big spear blade. I'm not sure what it's called but I like the hidden tang when closed, no sharp edges in the pocket.

Here’s a Bulldog Brand 5 blade Anglo Saxon whittler in antique ivory 5 1/4 closed, cam tang on top end and half stops on bottom end. Signed by the master cutler August Scheidtmann on the backside. Produced in the Friedrich Olbertz Co factory Solingen Germany, that also produced JA Henckels, German Eye Brand, Fight’n Rooster and Hen and Rooster.

Thanks, that's good to know. I didn't tell him how useful and pretty it is!They call that a “sunken joint” pat. It’s one of the coolest features of that knife. Of course there is the super spear blade, beautiful burlap Micarta, and cool copper bolsters, but don’t tell BartSacto !

I have one 35 and I like it, it’s a nice size. The spear looks good on this and I also like the swedge which is missing on the barlow. A lot to like on this one.It's not awful, I'll tell you that.
