My only point was that if you'd given up, you gave up too soon. My guess is there are still more coming. The CRK is a fine knife -- I'm sure it will suit your wife very well.

My point: I did not have the luxury of time necessary for the patience and perseverance required to land one of these. Accordingly, I opted to go with my original plan, as I happened upon this release en route to the CRK. Nothing gained, nothing lost, a venture that cost me nothing save for the amount of time I spent F5-ing.

Her birthday is a clearly defined fixed mark approaching at the speed of life. Too much plain dumb luck involved for me to risk betting on getting a BAD any time soon, let alone before the smoke from the candles clears.
