anyone seen this yet? i know it just came out today but im dying to hear. does anyone know what kind of machete that is that denzel has?
 
Saw it today very good movie . Sorry don't know what kind of machete he has but i think im going to try and make one .

If so, I think it would be a smatchet cut in half, as Smatchets are usually double sided/bladed, at least in my experience.

When I think of Smatchet, I think Al Mar.

Just watched the trailer to this film it actually looks pretty good , was not aware Denzel had a new movie out, this one I will have to see in theatres...Also noticed that blade he was carrying and dig it....
 
I think it's a tactiTOOL brand machete. Shunned by real users for it's fearsome styling, most effective when employed by the elusive masters called mall-ninjas.
 
It reminds me somewhat of the Condor Bolo machete, only with 5 or 6 times the holes and without the sharpened swedge.
 
Denzel looks good for walking 30 years across the USA in a TEWAWKI world.
The reviews I read were not too good.
 
Reviews always say otherwise. I think they must be written in collaboration with the same people who nominate for the Academy Awards most years. Generally if a movie looks good to me and gets bad reviews, I'm there. If it looks ok and gets great reviews, then I get nervous.
 
I saw it today at 1:05 pm. The action scenes were great! The movie moves a little slow in a few parts.....but overall it is interesting. Eventhough it is not a "Christian" film....I think it would appeal to Christians who are into the "end times" camp. Especially when you finally figure out what is going on.

I fall into this catagory and denzel is an awesome actor(man on fire:D) so im thinking im going to like this movie...and reviews are always way off IMO

Exactly why i will stay as far away from this flick as humanly possible. seems like it exemplifies the worst of what religion has to offer, which includes such things as the holocaust and the crusades.

Im sorry i cant help with the movie knife but im sure its a prop created espeacially for the movie. i see alot of the what knives were used in so and so movie threads but i think the answer is often that it was a prop designed specifically to look a certain way in a movie.
