In all honesty, it's an axe this time.

Thanks fellas. Didnt weigh it yet. came home and just threw all the fish on ice. Too tired... SO tired. LOL
Will weight it before cleaning it tomorrow though. Im guessing close to 8 pounds.
During the day i never catch anything close to this size, but at night the bigger ones come out to play!!
My steel urges have been in the forms of guns and vehicles. So just buy your axe and be happy.![]()
Nice fish.

No insult intended. I just don't know any eight pound bass songs.
I was guessing 6 ~ 8, that's an old bass, nice catch!
Awesome bass WW. My father law was a very avid and respected bass fisherman back in the day. He had a largemouth mounted on his hunting cabins wall years ago that he caught in Florida ironically 30 years ago. It was just over 13 lbs. Freaking thing was a monster. Remembering the size of it though I'd say your being modest on your guess. I bet that sucker is closer to 10lbs. Nice catch indeed. Bet it was fun realing in!
Nice bass WW! I bet that sucker put up a helluva fight.
Beautiful Bass Worldwood! I am a bass fisherman. My favorite one to chase. Here in Colorado our Black Bass take twice as long to reach maturity as Florida.
The bigger ones are hard to find here. Our state record is only 11 pounds.
That fish could potentially reach that size in 4 or 5 years there in Florida. 9 or 10 years here. That's why I eat Trout and Sunfish these days and release all my bass. I sure did fry a lot of those suckers up when I lived in Oklahoma.
The sunfish I catch could be bait for yours too.![]()
Long time no snark. Been busy with orders and stock for BLADE. Will be very relieved to get there this year. Take a breath. Drink a beer. Or two, three, four hundred!![]()
Some stuff gettin done. Got this one ready for the table today. I've seen every knife under the sun at BLADE. But you hardly ever see the kris.

I need to, haha. Funds are a little tight right now though, unless I sell something. I'm interested in the Council Tool Wood-Crafter:

You probably need to raise it up at least 1 8" concrete block high. If you get a toad choker, the hive will flood. Not good for the bees. 2 or 3 blocks high will make it easier on your back when working the hive.
I set them on blocks that pic was at the capture site not the apiary
