You probably need to raise it up at least 1 8" concrete block high. If you get a toad choker, the hive will flood. Not good for the bees. 2 or 3 blocks high will make it easier on your back when working the hive.

the only thing on the market now that's close is Rasta Fire, but i loved Inner Beauty so much more.

I don't know how ice does in a Charpy V - notch test, pretty fragile stuff. Not the 'bendiest' of material...so you get ZERO warning that the ice will break, then it breaks.

He is one lucky SOB. I've got a couple friends who ice climb here in NH; I've heard some stories (true ones) of incidents like that which were much more consequential in the injury/dismemberment department. Were it not for the GoPro, that'd be hard to believe.
