a gallon of Slime, quarter inch compressor hose, and fittings.

good times...

Slime is fun, after getting sick of patching tires for my siblings' bicycles a couple years ago I went through all the bikes in the household and Slimed them; haven't had a flat since.

Turns out slime can keep air from getting IN a tire too. It's great for 35psi forever!

another day "on the farm". permafix a cart tire or four... getting tired of patching, or fixing, or ...

I slimed my mower's tires.....but they are flat now. Perhaps leaving it sitting in the shed for a couple years is the problem....

It's pretty OK stuff. Used to work in a bike shop before the advent of tubeless tires (and Stan's) and we had plenty of the lime green stuff. I will say, for my 'cross tires and my MTB tubes (old school, I know) I use other things that seem to work better and are a bit more specific to bicycles. Gonna hafta go and get me some slime now - the mower needs to be moved out of the shed (as it's close to collapse) this weekend.

Ever seen the old Slime (print) ad? The one where the guy goes over the bars on his MTB and his feet are coming over his shoulders like some bizarre yoga move? I did that once....with witnesses.

GSOM, it only counts as yoga if you hold the pose until something pops.

Back before I got my driver's licence and I had to pedal everywhere I tried a lot of different things to prevent flats. The slime worked alright but I found I had to make sure when I parked my bike to spin the tires so the vale stems weren't at the bottom where the slime would settle. I also had a couple times where I would get a puncture and the slime didn't seal it, probably because it would happen just before parking the bike for the day and the hole would be above where the slime would settle. Solid tubes were just too hard to get in the tires but I found a combination of puncture-resistant liners and extra thick tubes worked great even without slime.

for the mtn bike, i have "puncture proof tires" and "no flat strips". that's been good.

the cart? not so much.

the label says slime is only good for 2 yrs before trying out or something...

I used to do that. Each time I'd buy me a new car (new to me) I would sleep in it on the first night of ownership. Stopped after I bought my Hilux mini-truck. Worst. Night. Ever. After that, I'd just pat my car, tell it it was a nice car and go and sleep in my bed.

then you get old...

then you get a tempurpedic and a gravity chair

then you are 30 years younger :D

unless you are under 30

then you are just ... uh. you know...

well, yah, we won't go there...

oooooze.

Gravity chair? What is this mystery you speak of?

It's a chair that harnesses the awesome power of gravity!

you are correct, sir.
all those run-of-the-mill gravityless chairs just can't hang with it.

I've become a pretty big fan of quality bicycle tires. Specialized Armadillos and Schwalbe Marathons are my go-to lines.

Well, there were a few things that popped.....so, yoga.

Continental Pro tubulars on my roadie are damn near bomb-proof. I've ridden a few right down to the Kevlar belt before they start losing air....traction is a bit compromised at that point, tho.

Id like this :D

I would also like one of these. I care not for the top speed. I would trade the dune buggy on the back for his/hers motorcycles.

I used to have a friend who had an old hearse to go (mountain biking with and) camping in. And, no, they did not sleep in coffins. Those things have a lot of room in the back! Plus it was just cool.

There is an adult move series that is filmed out the back of a hearse. It does look like there is a fair amount of room back there......
