This. A freakin' weld broke on the passenger side. Just my luck. Had to be a faulty weld. I contacted Bestop, but they don't do repairs. They offered to replace it, but they don't have charcoal grey anymore. I think I'm going to take it to an upholstery place I know of, and see if they can repair it. Pretty sure they can.

Dubs, the replacement door skins Velcro on the bottom and you cut the old origins off.... an upholstery shop might be able to resew the old ones back on if you get it rewelded.
Also, I may have an extra set of door frames at my Dad's place. If you don't get it replaced before I'm out there and we can probably arrange something quite reasonable.
Check Craigslist too. You might come across some cheap locally too.

Been checking CL. These aren't OEM door frames, they're Supertop frames. These don't velcro on, they're sewn on.

iirc, Jim's JEST is forged 5160, differentially hardened, convexed (a nice way of saying they have an edge geometry of the gods), and stuff

I want a Turok, but I didn't get a chance to pick one up this weekend despite the awesome prices they were going for. The little Jarosz necker was able to help ease the cravings for the time being.

Yea... I couldn't decide which one. It was easy to miss stuff there. The Globetrotter is a slick piece too. 710's set up for it would make for an awesome EDC package.
