That's not safe, taking pics while driving that fast - especially in a JEEP! You could get arrested. Or crash, which would be a tragedy for the BK-6 wielding, cat chasing community. Hopefully you were driving with your knee while both hands were operating your phone....."hands free" driving ;).

Lmao I'm an outlaw or an inlaw or something

Pretty much already knew that. Stuck here where I live in some part because of the above truth, and my inability to face the total grunt of it.
Every time I move I think, "we should get rid of half our stuff." And while we do get rid of some, we are no where near down to my fantasy of one suitcase per person.

Heck, I've got a suitcase full of knives I never imagined I'd have. And then there are all the tools, and the fishing equipment... And that's why we have a problem.

Perhaps it's not a problem....if you look at it as a suitcase half full of knives vs.....aww, forget it. Rejoice! it's a SUITCASE FULL OF KNIVES! Tho I know what you mean. Trying not to see it as a "problem", though. More like an "opportunity".....a chance to enhance someone else's life by trading your stuff for their cash....win-win. I, personally, just have a very hard time letting go - even if I don't use it and can't, in the foreseeable future, see when I will. Trying to get over that, with no guidance from a therapist and a packrat mentality. Difficult, to say the least - though not impossible.

It sure would be nice to only own what would fit in a duffle bag or maybe a single pickup load. But then again, so many cool guns...

What I'm really hoping for is to find a permanent job someplace I like and then buy/build a house there and accumulate what I like without having to worry about moving it. And I would need a large gun vault.

It's really only a problem during the packing and unpacking and figuring out where to put stuff in the new place. I'm just tired and grumpy.

:( Looks like it's official. My dad's selling the '79 J20. I still wish I could find a way to snag it. Badass truck.

That's no TJ instrument panel. Looks like his MJ's dash. But you really should get that gear.... It's nice to see at what speed you're traveling at without doing any extra math.

Well, if you decide to sell it in Oklahoma let me know :D

You'd be missing out on half of the fun of making a trip out of going to buy a vehicle 800 miles away. You and you dad or a buddy could run out or you could catch some cheap SW Airlines flight. Buzz out to my dad's place. Check out and buy the truck, see some of the old Jeeps he's working on in his shop. He might even let you drive his Willys CJ3B or take you around to meet a few of his friends with vast collections of vintage military vehicles.... Now the fun begins on the return trip. You'll have a solid 10+ hours of driving to bond with your newly acquired machine. Plot out a course that will let you take a trail or two exploring or do some camping here and there and really enjoy your trip with one of the most bad ass vehicles you will see on your way home. People will envy you and the unadulterated freedom you will be enjoying.

Did I mention that it has a gun rack in the back window?

Man's got a point.

On the Tacoma board i have seen people fly from Texas and California to Ohio to buy a truck... To save a few thousand bucks.

I couldn't do it. First i hate flying. Then there's that long drive back. After the plane ticket, cost of fuel, possible hotel room, food eating out the entire time... I'd prolly break even buying local.

Now when i was younger that would have Been an adventure... These days I'd rather be fishing.

Moving sucks.

Just in case you were wondering.

I'm not moving again!

Dunk, I know what you mean. I hate moving. I hate helping other people move. (Although I'm scheduled to help my nephew move in 2 weeks. :()

I'm with you there, psyop. I have 1 more moved scheduled at an unknown time, preferably WAY WAY down the road. It is to gravesite 482, about 1.7 miles away on a bearing of 243 T from my current residence, back behind the Lutheran church on the hill.

I will never again box my own stuff up to move it somewhere. :D

I have moved way too many times. I'm not doing that again. Years down the road if the wife wants a new house it will go right here on this land.

Now if i won millions or something I'd buy 1000 acres with some nice creek running through it connecting to a lake On the property. fully fenced in and build a cabin in the middle. Have at least a mile long driveway. Pay someone else to move what i wanted to keep.

So yea... I'll never move again lol

Lazy, or just too big a hurdle to jump over? I find myself in this same situation presently. Unused stuff that needs moving.....and I'm reading through snark (and poring over the Exchange) instead, putting it off for yet another night. Been a few months of nights like that.....

Mostly just lazy LOL

I'm not sure how Flickr works, but you can always try the trusty (on Chrome at least) Right Click and select "copy image address." Then toss that in a pair of IMG brackets. You can always pull the address from properties or open the picture in a new window and pull it from the address bar.

I'll have to play around and foodie things out.

So...I guess people don't bother to research pricing when selling online. So funny asking above retail NEW, PLUS shipping, for a used, sometimes well used item!? Then decline a decent offer with links to previously sold and brand new prices. Then stays up for weeks while others sell left and right for the proper price.
Simply amazing...
Not just knives but all kinds of general merchandise.
Maybe they wait for a sucker...I dunno. When I sell used or basically new stuff I just wanna recover what I can fairly quickly while offering a fair deal at the same time.
Maybe I'm missing something or just don't get it...
Why even bother with "OBO"?

Haha saw this yesterday on Facebook. Cracks me up!!

So I know that Gus is a bike guru (pedal not motor) is anyone else here in that category ? We have a bunch of decent abandoned bikes where I work, and I am trying to figure out which one I want, but I dont know enough about bikes. I dont want to grab the 80 dollar bike that looks cool, if theres a 1200 dollar bike in there that will be amazing to ride that just doesnt look as cool or as new. Anyone who can help with good brands, and good models and such ?
