Dunk, I know what you mean. I hate moving. I hate helping other people move. (Although I'm scheduled to help my nephew move in 2 weeks. :()

I'm with you there, psyop. I have 1 more moved scheduled at an unknown time, preferably WAY WAY down the road. It is to gravesite 482, about 1.7 miles away on a bearing of 243 T from my current residence, back behind the Lutheran church on the hill.

I will never again box my own stuff up to move it somewhere. :D

That would be my preference, but it is not my reality.

I have moved way too many times. I'm not doing that again. Years down the road if the wife wants a new house it will go right here on this land.

Now if i won millions or something I'd buy 1000 acres with some nice creek running through it connecting to a lake On the property. fully fenced in and build a cabin in the middle. Have at least a mile long driveway. Pay someone else to move what i wanted to keep.

So yea... I'll never move again lol
That's what I'm talking about!

Haha saw this yesterday on Facebook. Cracks me up!!
Hah, i'll have to check that one out!

Suhhhhhweeet!
Just got home, 'bout to start loadin' up!
Hittin' the road in the morn' for Bryson City, NC. 5 days and 4 nights of layed back car camping on the river.
Gonna TRY to pack light. Not easy with these girls...
Thinking the 21,20,2,5, couple 16s, 11s, 24&14, 7, 13. Hope to knock out a bunch of BCUSA Bushclass lessons with m'ladies. Gotta find some Jeep trails too. Thankfully my daughter's coming along so I can keep the wife outta the casino in Cherokee lol

Sounds like a great time NC!!

The wife has the next 4 days off so Im thinking take the wife and kids to a spring for some swimming one day, and the drive in theater with the wife and kids one night, a little fishing alone one morning, and some bowfishing with curt one evening/night..... I just have to get them "days and nights" in order now LOL

I been using the hell out of my Globetrotter. Have used it for everything from cutting off fish heads to cutting carpet. Really liking the design and size!!

There used to be a drive in here. Lots of fun with kids. The playground was right in front. They were really lax and allowed coolers, lawn chairs, anything really. It's was like a party lol. Ppl grilling, double features. Then it burned down... heart breaker. We watched the matrix's, pirates OTC, Harry Potters, Lord of the Rings, great memories. I've always wanted to set one up in the back yard heh

I don't do regular theaters. Too many people talking and smacking their food as I'm trying to watch a movie.

The closest drive in theater is a little over an hour away, worth the trip. Always 2 features. I put blankets and stuff in the back of the truck for the kids and me and the wife usually sit in camp chairs beside the truck.

Not allowed any outside food or drink here but we still sneak in something to sip on :D

Really cheap too.. iirc it was like 15 bucks for all 4 of us for both movies last time. Hell you can barely get 1 ticket for 1 movie at That price at regular theaters anymore.

Dang, I hate restrictions...always bring my own. One time some college kids pulled up beside us, opened the back on their SUV and a big bong fell out. Lmao. That was a fun night. Beer was mandatory. During the day it was a gun shop and flea market on weekends.

That would be awesome

Not sure if this will work but here's a link

That sounds great. Bryson city is on my list to check out. I've been wanting to bead back to the mountains soon. Doubt it'll happen a anytime soon though.

There's still one operating in my hometown in Oregon and one here in Pueblo. Also back in my hometown there's this awesome sandwich shop, you would think anyone would be able to slap some meat and cheese on a bun and it would be fine but somehow they make sandwiches better than anywhere else I've ever been. It's like they have magical sandwich powers.

I could go for a magical sandwich right now.

Ran out of bread from lunch today so i can't even make a regular sandwich right now..

So I know that Gus is a bike guru (pedal not motor) is anyone else here in that category ? We have a bunch of decent abandoned bikes where I work, and I am trying to figure out which one I want, but I dont know enough about bikes. I dont want to grab the 80 dollar bike that looks cool, if theres a 1200 dollar bike in there that will be amazing to ride that just doesnt look as cool or as new. Anyone who can help with good brands, and good models and such ?

Granitestateofmind might be able to help you out.

Yeah, GSoM might be able to....Thorny, you got my number....give me a call. I'll message you tomorrow.

How did you know that, Jerry? Oh, wait....must be from my bike pics that I've posted and all the other bike stuff I've talked about over the years.

Do any of you guys have any experience with the spyderco worker? It looks like a nice blade, but seems kind of expensive for what it is. Either way I think I like it

My dad found one in a bus he was working at work a few years ago. Gave it to me. It was serrated, ugliest most useless POS ever. Traded it for a Cam7😉
Best trade ever!

Ha-ha! No problem. Just doing my part in enabling as a good Beckerhead ought to. Been there done that. Only that my dad is where I got it from and is as bad as I am.... sooo.... yea. We've done the 9 hour one way down and back trip for some Jeeps before. :D

Come to think of it, we've done it several times. My first Jeep came from Wisconsin and our CJ3B's from North Carolina.

Did you use a Becker? Vaseline? Bacon? Ride inanimate pigs? Go pantless? Carve Gunyon into your chest hair?

Any of the standard, required, initiations?

Snark!

Since it's the only one I'll get, I took my time with the BK-20 and did an etch of the logo and model. Finally time to start using this one...
