Uh oh. Creek over the road is in major flood and the bottom storey of my house looks like it's about to go under. Butthole..

Unfortunately too late now but this is DEFINITELY on the cards in the future. Sandbags at least..

Rains easing now and the water has leveled off. It's still lapping at the bottom of the fridge doors. One more deluge and it's all over though. The ONE weekend I get to myself (missus and bubüt are in Sydney) and I've got to spend it moving $#!+.... urgh....

Thanks again fellas. If it wasn't night here I'd post up some wicked pictures of my stuff floating around :D

ETA: my knives? Are all safe and dry and warm and tucked up in bed. Almost literally..

And it was a beautiful day. Up till about 3pm it was very peaceful, only the occasional boat passing by, mostly we had the water to ourselves. After about 3pm lots of kayakers started showing up and other boaters as well. We all but stopped fishing then and did some swimming and cruising, went back to fishing for a bit towards the end but then called it a day around 5pm.

Didnt take many pictures... just the ones im sharing actually... But we all caught quite a few bream. I caught several catfish as well, but the one in the picture was the biggest. I kept the one in the picture, the rest i threw back. I have plenty catfish in the freezer, so they have to be worth cleaning to keep anymore LOL
 
Better hurry up and clear him out of there.
Before you know it you'll have a whole pack of 'em living in the back your truck.
Looks like one of Dirty Mike and the Boy's...
 
All this packing has me seeing things.

Keep walking by this box from the river store and wondering what this new model is



The went for a quick walk with the family after dinner and this guy was peeking out of the rocks by a creek.
