Glamping sounds fabulous! Where are you heading? I assume the pup is coming with you?

Just local to Emerald Lake. Yes, she's going to come with us :) should be a fun trip!

Catching up on some snark :( been really busy around the house lately with pup training and such.

WW - you think 100lbs dogs that don't listen is a problem... My 126lbs puppy that think's its a lapdog is a little stubborn lol. Smart... but stubborn. Even better, try getting a toy back from an off leash a**hole that can run 30-50mph lol. Lucky for me, all she did was taunt me and stay 10 yards ahead of me as she trotted home (from the park). Of course... her trot, was my full sprint lol. That was her telling me she was done playing for the day haha.

So far her training has been good. Still working on that whole... you come here when I call you bit. But other then that, she has most things figured out.

Dunk, like GSOM offered, If you need to ship that suitcase full of knives somewhere; my door is always open. Then you can tell the wife its not even in the country anymore.

Nice photo shop on that picture Psyop ;) Jeeps don't go that fast. Everybody knows that :D

I could go for a magical sandwich right now.

Ran out of bread from lunch today so i can't even make a regular sandwich right now..

Haven't you learned anything yet? you need to sell your soul for stuff like that. If Simpsons taught us anything...its that you can sell your soul for anything it and it will magically appear.

Good to see you around JT. My idea for your contest - human topiary contest. Shave your man hair into something. Most impressive design wins. :D

Lol TBL, id have to wait till the pup got tired then take it back. I'm not chasing anything running that fast :D

Added a decal to my truck. The salt life ones are common around here but i never seen one of these and i do lots of fishing in creeks so it was love at first sight LOL

I need one that says Couch Life. It's too damned hot outside.

Woody and wicked :)

Yeah, the human topiary thing has already been done. I'd hate to steal anyone's thunder... Also, being joyously smooth as a dolphin from the neck down myself, I really have no desire to see any of you lunatics' body hair, shaved into patterns or not. :barf:

Secret, what secret?

OH!! That secret, :foot: don't worry, your secret is safe with us! :D

I was on a mission today, to find out how many wood cutting sawzall blades it takes to make an 18" x 12" hole in an exterior lathe & plaster wall. My scientific observation yielded the figure of 6 blades.
Now I got one more of those holes to make, and I'm 6 blades short. Tomorrow will be into trrrriple digits, and the man cave needs air flow.
I'm on a mission. :friendly_wink:

Yeti schmeti. Anyone have some YETI stickers I can put on these? :D

Angry Orchard is aight but there are other ciders I usually choose over them: 2 Towns, Crispin, Flatbed, and Seattle Cider Co. are among the best for me.

Sometimes, you have to take what you can get. None of the 4 you listed are readily available here in central Texas. Maybe in Dallas or Houston, but not around Austin, EXCEPT for the rare case or 2 that pops up occasionally, never to be repeated at a regular interval. Even AO didn't start showing up regularly until a couple of years ago.

Hmmm, keep forgetting the local stuff here isn't the local stuff everywhere.

That's where I'm at. I can only get the major brands.

Call me "Mr. Fancy Pants," but my favorite is Stella Cidre.

All you cider folks: what is wrong with beer, for cryin' out loud? Although I understand not everyone likes it, I guess.....

I've not tried the multitude of local craft ciders, but....there are certainly a lot of them. This is what Johnny Appleseed started; at one point ALL cider was "hard" cider = safe to drink. But since apple seeds are heterozygous (ALL apple seeds will produce something different from the apples that they came from, including commercially available apples (ALL clones, every single one)) he was travelling around with a canoe full of god-knows-what....some spitters, some good for eating, some lost to history.....but every one of them good for making cider. Now I'm going to have to sample some of the local products......

Rhody Coyote ain't bad at all, and it comes in a jug.

I like Redds more than angry orchard. Never heard of the others mentioned though.

Hitting the river to do some fishing in the morning. Have a 12 pack of Redds wicked ready to go. Part of my father's day gifts... Along with a blackberry plant, blueberry plant, and a bucket full of car wash and detail stuff.

Just us men going fishing in my fathers big pontoon boat. There is a restaurant on the river with a dock you can pull up to. The women and kids are meeting us there and buying us lunch.

Making out great this father's day. :D

Haha, that would actually be hilarious. Especially around here with all the salt life decals.

My step brother has a nice yeti cooler, Curt has a Colman cooler from Walfart... We tested them head to head with an igloo cooler as well and the Colman held ice longest. Nobody we tell believes it... i seen it first hand and couldn't believe it either.

Step brother made excuses... The yeti held less ice to begin with.. It was smaller.. It was opened a few times the first day.. They all were... We could tell he was disappointed with the outcome but still tried to justify it.

They are nice and built like tanks, great boat seats... but as a Cooler im not impressed, for the price... I could buy a boat seat, locking storage box, cheap cooler, and have enough left over to keep the cooler filled with beer for a couple weeks.

I love beer. Curt got me drinking Redds lately but i still love me some beer.

I need to find an equivalent to the big gruesome craft beer i got in PA. I miss that stuff.

Been taking it easy on whiskey lately. Last 2 times i drank whiskey, more than just a couple shots, it didn't end well lol.

Haven't partaked in the wacky spinach in over a month either. Have some... just haven't had the urge. Been enjoying life more with a clear head. I can remember stuff better too... Who knew lmao.

I've sampled many beers and there are a few that are OK I just don't like beer for the most part. I'm not proud of that but it is what it is.

Got invited by some friends (very good to know friends) to one of the only two beach clubs on the coast of NH last night. Very ritzy. Storm passed to the south of us:

Had a really nice time, even though I felt TOTALLY out of place....I will never be able to have the means necessary to be a member of this or the other place, ever. Still, it's good to know people that do....

Alos, for (vast majority of) those of you that don't follow me on instagram: Thursday night I went out to shoot my bow, only to see the (across the street) neighbor's cat running up my (next door) neighbor's yard with something furry in its mouth (this cat (and I generally like cats) kills indiscriminately and is completely psycho) and being chased by a couple rabbits (!) so I yelled at it and it disappeared into the woods behind my house, only to emerge a minute later with nothing. I could see lots of fur where it ducked under the fence....but, nothing I could do at that point. Shot my bow for about 45 min. and a friend of mine showed up (pre planned) to have his chipper blade sharpened. I took him over to where I'd seen all the fur, and lo and behold, I almost tripped over this:

Still alive, couldn't have been more than a day or two old. My younger daughter got a box (she wanted to keep it....) and we took it over to where I guessed it came from - had to skirt around a couple rabbits that were having dinner - and as we put it next to the brush, saw a couple more larger, but still younger than adults, rabbits. Quite a population explosion of longears this year....there was one stretched out in my backyard this afternoon soaking up the sun; looked a little like a cat the way he was stretched out and sprawled on the grass. I see several of them every day....more than I remember ever seeing in the 13 years I've lived in this house.
Had one just come right up to me while I was shooting a couple days ago.

Cider is good, beer is good, why not both? I like a lack of bitterness, so both cider and beer (other than IPA) work for me.

Cider is good. Beer sucks. At least as far as MY taste buds go. I hate beer. I like ciders, I like mead. I like melomels. I like tequila, rum, bourbon. I hate beer.

I even like hammerfalls more than beer.
