Border security

People should do a search on Bob Maupin. In retaliation for calling authorities about illegals running drugs the Mexican MILITARY came and arrested him ON HIS PROPERTY IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. I have been a big supporter of clamping down on the border and we need to get it done now.
 
I know Bob personally. Spent some time on his ranch. Good man.
 
Here's a photo of a photo. I took this photo of Bob's photo while I was at his place. These are the Mexican military guys that arrested him on his own property. This photo was taken after the Border Patrol got to Bob's place and freed him. Border incursions by the Mexican military happens regularly.

BTW: Bob has some neat WWII artillery. He rents it out to movies for use during filming. His stuff was used in the Clint Eastwood movie Flags over Iwo Jima (I think that's the name of the movie).
 
Good stuff Jeff.. Living in So Cal we are very familiar with the problems posed by illegal immigration. After 911 the one thing we could have done to really secure this nation was take control of the borders FOR REAL. But we get the "Patriot Act" instead..LOL..
Also I had heard Blackwater has scrapped its So Cal venture and decided to build a new facility in N. Idaho.
Its a sad day when anyone who calls for border control is immediately labled racist.
 
I am a big supporter of closing down the border and we need to get it done by any means . Fences are just an obstacle in the way and they find a way around it easily. Okay put up a fence and sign clearly stating the Fact in Spanish & English very clearly along the fence,if you cross this Designated border you will be fired upon action may result in your Death !

Well, they can call me racist if they want to but the fact of the matter is the situation on the border is a serious security threat to this nation. I'm all for legal immigration. In fact, I welcome it.
 
I remember that photo when I was reading about Bob. Also that photo of the MS-13 member was interesting. People need to understand that the chance of terrorists using the lax border situaiton is a very real possibilty. MS does NOT care about who they smuggle into our country as long as they have the money to pay them. What I don't understand is when people start calling us racists and xenophobes and for what, wanting to protect our citizens and country? I can promise you that, God forbid, we get attacked again these same people will be SCREAMING because it was allowed to happen once again.
 
A friend of mine and I went to El Salvador and did some pretty good research on MS-13. That's where that photo came from. We're were with the El Salvador police unit UTO when I took that photo. This MS-13 member had just returned from Virginia. According to his tats he had been in the gang for about 10 years and had several killings under his belt. He's probably long since dead due to the large 18th Street gang presence in his neighborhood. They kill MS members for fun.

Agreed amigo, my sister in-law is still working to get her citizenship. She is an asset to this country. She works hard, learned the language, and is a great young lady. I know PLENTY of good Mexican people who did it the right way.:thumbup: We just need them to do it the RIGHT way.
 
We need to take the crazy beauracracy out of the Visa process. While good folks are wasting away waiting to get in the right way, the scum is crossing in on a daily basis.

I live in Texas, and use to hunt in south Texas. It was common to find areas where illegals had crossed over and spent the night. I have a good friend that still hunts down there and he started to find those same type of areas, but also MS13 gang signs spraypainted around the lease. Times are changing for the, and "worse" is not the word I would use to describe them but rather "more dangerous". This is a serious problem that needs to be confronted head on. I remember in the Marines sitting in a patrol base on Camp Pendleton doing some training ops, I caught 2 illegals wondering around. For those who are not familiar with Pendleton it is a good 1hr from the border.

They dont worry about Visa's, they dont worry about anything... If the first thing they do when coming to the US is break the law, how many laws do you think they will follow once here?
Guys like that do anything they want up to and including murder, and when it gets hot they just go home to Mexico and are protected until the heat is off. Then they come right back and do as they wish.. Its pure insanity, and if you point it out your prejudice.
 
We're preachin' to the choir, bro ;) I think most folks see it as we do but they're afraid to say anything - scared of being labeled as anti-Mexican, racist, neo-Nazi, SkinHead or whatever other label the do-gooders would like to lay on any honest, hard working man that doesn't understand why the government doesn't enforce its laws.

I think what we should do is every illegal alien that comes into our country, we should deport one of our worst criminals to there country. Pull a Cuban Castro prison release in reverse!
 
HAHA! Thats a great idea!

What we need to do is go after those who hire illegals and make it HURT!! Then get Mexicans IN Mexico to start making all the crap we ship over here by the TON from China! Even if cheap toasters and TV's cost a bit more in the long run we all win.

But like you said we're preaching to the choir, and we're just dumb rednecks anyway! What do we know?..;-)
 
:grumpy: im goin to respectfully disagree about closing down the border, i like the candians they are ok, we only have to close down the southern border :D. Also where i live in the Appalachian mountains in a small redneck town there is no gangs so i was supprised at some of them tats and i knew about MS13 but i had actually never heard of the 18th street latinos. Any suggestion about how to close down the border? (the last i checked the fences ain't working :rolleyes: couldn't imagine why)
and how to stop gangs from spreading? (also fences don't work with this problem)

They made a song about what we know its called "a country boy will survive" :D besides let them under estimate us that only gives us the upper hand when it comes to competitions, as long as its not a spelling bee or something to do with computers that is.
 
I have lost friends and family to gang violence when I was younger. It seemed like a big problem back then (80's-90's) but it seems a little less violent in the past few years around me where there is a struggling between so many different gangs. I don't believe that a person should be afraid of the place they live in which is why I may get shot or jumped getting something to eat or going to the store. Somethings don't change they just mutate into different animals!

We are all safer out in the deserts, mountains and jungles.
