I have tried so many times to get into video games. I use to wish i could get lost in them like some people.... Not being a big sleeper they would of come in handy a lot...Im just not amused playing them. I get bored in 10 minutes or so.

Watching "older" TV comedies now... Finished "Undeclared" And now im bout done with "freaks and geeks" Need to look up some similar ones... Its cool seeing the actors again, but younger. "Sweets" from Bones looks like a baby LOL

Sitting in a "cabin" in Crowley's Ridge State Park. Glad for the roof and air conditioning with the thunderstorms tonight. State Parks have sure changed over the years. Still plenty of camping sites, but the he cable TV and wifi here in the cabin have me really wondering if I will ever get the family happy about actually staying in a tent again.

Last time I took my kids camping, the site near ours had a 40" plasma strapped to a tree, and those kids were watching movies on it.

A TV strapped to a tree would be both cool to see and beyond annoying.

One of my kids is binge watching a show on Netflix on our kindle fire.

I used to go to a church that had a campout every year. One year we tired a different campground from where we normally went. Place turned out to be really lame, totally built for RV's. Two bathrooms for the whole campground, full hookups, manicured lawns. Just a lame campground. So my friends at my site set up a tv and watched a movie and played some video games outside.

I'm finally home, but I'm going to miss philmont, I've already stared looking at other treks and Mayne even going back as staff

P.S. Gsom, got your package, thank you so much! I really look forward to working on the knife

Dang, y'all don't play any games I plan on getting except maybe Uncharted 3. Lol.

If any of you use headsets, have you tried a Turtle Beach PX21? It's the one I've been looking at to get.

I've never used a head set, always kind of wanted one, but for the price it just doesn't make sense to me

Yea i dont even call it camping when your in a cabin or RV... Granted i still like to get a cabin in the woods every now and then, but its no longer camping IMO, its just a single motel room with a better location and scenery. Still fun.... But different. And treated differently. We dont even let the kids take their tablets out the car once we get to the woods... camping... In a cabin we let them just like we would a motel. I also piss and crap in the woods when camping even if there are toilets set up in short walking distance.... In the cabin.... Not so much LOL

I enjoy both, but prefer primitive.... Well, close to primitive as we can legally get around here anyways. I dont really consider camping in designated campsites, around other people you have never seen, only making a fire in designated fire pits... as primitive camping either... But i take what i can get.... I truly miss paddling down a creek and hopping out the kayaks or canoe once you get deep in the swamp and setting up camp, fishing all night with a fire right on the creek side, and never seeing another human.... Thats primitive camping to me.

Off topic.......

True story.... I kept feeling like something was crawling on my foot... Look down and nothing... This has gone on for a few hours now... At one point i even got a flashlight out and got down on hands and knees to check the floor for small, hard to see crawlies... Nothing.... I just realized its the hair on my toes :D

I moved a fan closer to my computer earlier today, and now i get a good amount of wind... Had me confused for a WHILE though LMAO

I used my Old Boy and burnt the hairs off my toes... It was either that, move the fan back and be hot, or skip the lefties  :D

Definitely not gonna spend a lot on one. 20-25 dollars at most. I'll only be chatting with one of my best friends on there anyways, so no need for the super expensive ones. The PX21 is on fleabay pretty cheap right now though

I feel the same way. I can't stand "camping" in a campground with lit showers, sprinklers, power outlets and water at each "site". Doesn't feel like camping at all to me like that. And cabins are fun, but they're more like houses in the woods. I mean, you have a full bed...

Oh, and, I've totally had that toe hair experience. It totally weirds me out. I also occasionally get it after playing a sport that has tighter shoes (I play a lot of soccer still), and the toe hair "un crinkling" sometimes feels exactly the same :/.

And also, I highly recommend headsets when gaming. I'm a social gamer (its how I keep in touch with my friends that live out of state/country). So headsets let us chat while we play. I mostly play PC games though.

HAHA!!! Nice to know im not the only one with toe hairs playing tricks on them :D

And yea bud... Im all for ANYTHING that gets people, even a little, closer to nature... So if a cabin is what does it for some, GREAT!! Just dont call me and say we are going to "Rough it" and then we pull up to a cabin... Cause im calling ya a sissy FROM NOW ON :D

I usually have socks on even lounging around the house. No pants or shirt, but I have socks and boxers. I have had errant nose hairs grow out of a nostril, curl around and tickle the outside of my nose and take a while to figure out what that was. Had to rip it out, sucked slightly less than leaving it.

Hobbit feet sounds right :D

I could fit a size 9 if i could find ones i liked in 4E widths... The sandals i got on right now are size 12. 11s were too narrow. These are the perfect width... Just too too long...

I read the Teva omniums have a wide toe bed... And i love how they look... But man the price tag has kept me from pulling the trigger on them for months. I cant find anywhere around that has THEM tevas in stock. And im not about to spend nearly 100 bucks on some sandals without trying them on... Not with these feet....

I hate shoes.

But hey, if you ever wanna rub my feet down with some warm lotion after an epsom salt bath.... Well you just let me know :p

HAHA!!

My beard, before being illegally stolen from me, use to occasionally tickle the inside of my ears... But i knew what it was them times and it didnt bother me. A quick brush of the beard and it stopped.... This time i really thought some small bug was screwing with me hehe..

Them aggravating hairs have to go though!! I didnt want to shave my toes or pull each hair out of each toe.... My way worked... Quicker than the other 2 ways too :D

Oh... I hate socks too.

Don't cheep out with sound or headset. Go for the PS3 brand 7.1 surround sound blue tooth ones. They also work with your computer too :D I luv mine.

Haha WW I totally agree with you on camping. I have to compromise with my wife :( she wants cabin, I want tent, we both settle for her parents RV when we can. I really want to take my family out on a lake up north and just hit a trail but they just ain't into that. When the boys get older it will be something to do with them!

So in actual fact your foot is shaped like this?

I'm having a hard time picturing you wearing anything on feet like this..

Hell yea TBL, and with your boys you are KING!! You can teach them the ways of the wild!!

Ill be happy to get my kids out fishing more myself!! Soon.

HAHA!! Not quiet that square... But close lol

My wife has said i could always just buy size 12, and then chop the toe sections of the shoes off and call them open toe shoes. :D
