I imagine it's humid as balls there. Normally it's pretty dry here but for the last couple months it's been raining like crazy and got pretty humid, which sucks when you have to stand outside for 2-3 hours straight checking ID's with body armor on. Wasn't even hot, just really humid and I drenched my uniform under my armor. And a couple years ago when I went to visit KC, holy crap the air is almost too thick to breath. Arid is definitely better.

I don't give a crap what he/she/it wants to do/be as long as they don't talk about it 24/7. That's just annoying.

That said, it doesn't take much "courage" to be hailed as a hero by the media because you don't like your original parts.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone, I wish you all a bunch of huge juicy sausages!

Been getting things situated... Well actually that's mostly false.. Been playing 90% of the time.. But working in the occasional unpacking.

Hot as hell though. 85 here and 85 in philly are WAY 2 different things. Neko can't handle it. We let him out to run in the yard Saturday and he overheated. Only took half an hour. He was drinking water before hand and everything. But his legs looked like they cramped up, I got him inside in the air conditioning real quick and then he had a seizure.

Took him to get checked out and found out he overheated... So now we don't let him out to run loose except in the early morning or evening times and we take him on short bathroom walks during the hot hours if he has to go.

I was scared.. Love my dog man. But he has been great ever since... Well actually ever since about 30 minutes after the seizure.

Oh and my pet insurance is excellence. I remember we talked about it here before. I called them up today and they told me I'd have a check in the mail within 10 days. Only down side is you have to pay out of pocket first... Then they reimburse you depending on the amount of coverage you pay for.. In my case 90%. Still better than not having it...


Anyways hope everyone is well. Going fishing this weekend. Need to figure out how to do pictures from these raggedy phones... I plan on catching a sausage fish longer than you could ever imagine...

Jeeberz Crikes dude, that's scary. I'm super glad he's ok though. I think I could safely say that we all love Neko as well bro! Yeah like TBL said, shaving him could be an option. We shave our long haired chihuahua Cheech during the summer. Keeps him cool and makes it easy to check for ticks as well. Oddly enough though, his hair grows back just fine. Looks exactly the same.. Anyway, always good to hear from you brother. Glad you're all well..
 
I posted that photo, because I thought it was funny, not to start a political debate.
 
Thanks guys. The kiddie pool is a great idea. I will pick one up soon as I hit the city again.

They actually say you shouldn't shave these dogs ever. The vet even said not to. The double coat on shibas keep then warm and cool somehow... And they say if you shave then they get skin problems or some crap.

But I'll grab one of those pools for sure, he'll prolly love it.

I'm having a blast though... Sunburned and worn out... Bout to take a couple shots of the creek and watch a little TV...

Oh I picked up this locking cabinet... Kobalt brand. Model 19493 I believe.. Love it. I bring it up because it would make one hell of a knife cabinet.

Me and my wife were talking about that. When we were in Texas it could get 100 degrees and you wouldn't sweat like you do here at 80.

What's weird is philly and here have similar humidity a lot of times according to the weather people...

I tend to disagree with them...

Thanks man! He seems to be great now.. Almost caught a rabbit earlier but it made it under the fence too quick... Otherwise he would be having rabbit for dinner lol
