Yeah I know, IHOP is probably pretty terrible but I love it. Only because there's nothing over here like it. Granted, I have to go where I'm taken because the last couple of times I wasn't covered in the insurance for the hire car so I can't go where I want to go. Mebbe next time..

Hey has anyone here seen Interstellar? I've watched it like half a dozen times (got it in the hard drive) and gosh darn I love that movie. Ever since I was a little kid I've wanted to go into space. For some reason the sheer solitude appeals to me. The blackness, the loneliness, the immensity. I would happily cruise the universe forever given a chance, checking out stellar bodies, nebulae, quasars. An eternity of exploration and pondering..

Ohhh kayyy. Now that I've made everyone in here look at me all funny, I'm going to go and sit in the corner :foot: Please continue..

I was reading about the in general the other day. :thumbup: definitely a popular model. One of these days I'm going to have to learn to limit myself on the number of knives I carry. When that happens... I may try a traditional :D

I also got a knife today :D came in the mail. Currently writing up my review :thumbup:

I have the regular #15 with the pen blade in ebony. When I learned they were doing a run of these with the cap lifter instead, it was a no-brainer.

Lol. It's youtube.com/bigghoss762 I'm working on the videos now. I did separate first impressions-type vids for the BK4, Condor Mini Duku, and Eco Parang and another trying out one of those thin wire saws vs my Opinel #12 folding saw. Unfortunetly, there was someone in my usual spot and the only other spot I could find had been cleared of any and all fallen wood over 3". While you wait for the videos, here are a few pics.

I really want to like the Parangatang, but that peak on the handle is in just the wrong spot for my hand. I'm not sure if I should sell it or mod the handle to fit me better.

I have it on DVD from the library just this week - but I have an allergy or something to sitting down and vegging out for a couple hours; hell, even my computer is a stand-up affair.It'll probably end up somehow on my hard drive *cough* but now that you've given the thumbs up, I'll try to watch it sooner rather than later. Been a sci-fi geek for 45 years, but I'm more interested in interstellar bodies than solitude...

And I say if you like IHOP, then go ahead and enjoy it, other people's opinions be damned. I have places I love, and I cook a LOT, but hey - I'm not all that picky, and sometimes IHOP (or Denny's or Dunkin' Donuts) fills the bill. My FIL is always looking for the BEST place to eat....and then he hot sauces the crap out of EVERYTHING - and I do mean EVERYTHING - and still, he thinks he's some sort of "gourmand". Puh-leeze. He doesn't even have taste buds left!

Someone recently posted some pictures showing how well the BK4, 5, and 9 fit in a Condor Hudson Bay sheath. Anyone remember who that was? I showed that in a video and I'd like to give them credit.

I wear a medium- large size standard glove. I found it took a little bit of getting used to but there were 3 grips that I could use the knife in. It all depended between which finger the peak was for what task I was preforming. At the end of the day (for me personally) it don't bug me. I say mod it!
