BOSS HG55. . . Yowza!!!!!

I have to be honest, the thumb ramp on this new knife and talon look exactly like a Horton, when I saw the similarities... I couldn't help but think this was a jab from Jerry to Horton. A way of Jerry reaffirming even his older designs as his. I'm sure I'm wrong. Right?

YOWZA!!!!. . . . You're right. . . . You are wrong!

I really dig Jeremy's designs and appreciate that they are so uniquely his own.

I used to put either hand filed or saw cut thumb grooves in many of my early designs and did these with the CNC. . . If anything, I was influenced by Jeremy's CNC'd thumb grooves. . . . They are Very cool ! ! ! !

This design is one of my oldest and one of my favorites. . . . In fact, I have one that I made for Jennifer's dad in '92. He always joked that it was the most valuable knife in the world because I got his daughter and he got the knife! I got it back 2 years ago after he passed away.

I'll post some pics tomorrow. . .

Jerry :D

Well, that's it, my boy.

Your immediate destiny has been settled.

You ... are a knifemaker!

I hope this isn't a surprise (not that it really matters -- the die is cast).:)

That is cool! Great story Jerry, and congrat to Jeremy for being so favored by the big guy

This chat about Jerry and Jeremy reminds me of the scene in 'Pumping Iron' where they're asking Arnold about Lou. If you know the film then you'll know what I mean.

About 7,30 onwards. The King of the Hill speech.
