Listen to the trough Jerry! Same as original, but .18 and throw in a sawback option for David![]()
seeThe original was perfect. Even with the saber grind. It is one of the best general knives I have, bar none. The only reason the TGULB beats it is because it is long enough to baton-split wood. But as a general camp knife, the original HOG Badger cannot be beat (IMO). I REALLY hope that Jerry eventually does a re-run of those. Or even the shorter Badgers. I've got enough big/long knives.
All that being said, I have NO doubt these are going to be FANTASTIC knives. Just that I'll stick with my OG HOG Badger. If Jerry does the OG in a 0.18, though... I'm in.
Looks like it grew up a bit and got 2" longer and the grind line goes up full height

I ordered the full rounded choil and micro on the retrievers. The full is perfect for blade control on skinning. So I think it’s great for the new BHBSee now look at that micro choil. It’s basically all inside the ricasso costing you very little, if any, cutting edge. Absolutely love it!![]()

I find it to be a little on the thick side, a .16-.18 with the full height grind would be the perfect knife for me.The original was perfect. Even with the saber grind.
