You RULE!!! Thank you very much :thumbup::thumbup:

Do you feel that there is a lot of overlap between the two?

Or are they totally different animals? I guess this would more pertain to the CG BJ vs. the DSF...

the cg boss jack is similar to the dsf is terms of weight and thickness.with a blade heavy feel like the dsf.the le is a different animal all together in my opinion.the le is much better balanced than the cg boss jack, and much lighter.its one of my very favorite knives right now:thumbup:

Thanks again for the quick response - I've gone back and forth on these and still cant make up my mind

I guess there are worse problems to have.

If you are debating on getting an LE just do it. It is so so similar to the original SJ that it's hard to tell. I have a .19" satin/bp saber SJ and the BJLE in bp and they are amazingly similar. I grabbed a BJLE just because I couldn't bring myself to use the SJ.

you guys are about to talk me into it..

You should do it. I have sold a lot of my collection off but I am keeping my SJ's and my BOSS Jack LE's. Unless you want to spend $800 + to buy an old SJ in satin and have the patience to wait for one then I suggest you buy one of these LE's. SJ's are my favorite 6" Busse and the BJLE is so darn close it's impossible to feel the difference when you use it. Plus it's thin, what more could you ask for.:cool::thumbup:

Does any of you guys can take a pic of of all three blades: dssf, bj le and bj cg from the top?
The bj le tip looks perfect from the top

They talked me into getting one!!!

You won't be sorry, the BJ-LE looks, feels and is amazing!

I'm debating on getting another LE; or a regular black blade Pumpkin BJ (I'm not sure if 'Pumpkin implies a black blade, I would guess not, but I'm not quite sure.) It just looks great on the pictures I've seen here on the forum.

My satin/blk/red Proto is nice except I'm not the best at sharpening as it is and I imagine that one is a beast to sharpen properly. :o

I wonder if Garth could put a different edge on it and how much it would cost if he, or someone could? I guess that's what a phone and/or Email is for.
