Boss Jack in Hand. Am I first?

sweeeet,,thank you!! major kong,do you like the choil or no choil???

I prefer the choil personally, but it's just aesthetic to me. I like that visual transition between the blade and the handle. Between the two Jacks I like the thinner profile of the LE but would prefer a larger handle on it. It feels a little small in my hand, but it could be that I've gotten used to my SAR-6.

I gotta stop visiting this forum - at least until mine arrives. My black/black canvas CG order feels so boring compared to all those beautiful LEs and orange/black scales.

Can't go wrong with blk/blk - it's a classic combo.

I agree. Black w/ black is a classic setup.

Really thinking I'm going to have to get a black/black CG now, which is what I was going to go with before I decided on the LE.

Looking good guys!!!

Home all day and the mail carrier didn't bother to knock :( just left the slip in the mailbox, have to wait till Monday for mine.

You gotta tip that guy for Christmas. Mine sometimes brings regular mail to the door to say HI.....;)

Is it just me? All that talk of the "new" zero edge geometry on the coated blades, they look exactly like every other pre Cabs/scabs/lcabs knives that I own. I guess the pictures can be deceiving. For you guys who have them, are the edges on the CG's zero edged convex? Did I read it wrong in the initial writeup? I no longer have a burning desire to buy a SJ anymore. I better sell my snake BAIII before Jerry releases a Boss version and makes it worthless! (JK, I will hand that bad boy down to my son and let him use it. I just can't make myself).

Now that you mentioned it, I looked. Its deceiving because of the paint line just above the edge, but it does appear to have a rounded convex edge and no other grind line.

Pete - those black on black shots are great and makes me feel much better about my CG choice! If i get a bigger bonus, maybe go for an LE in orange an black - or save up for something bigger (Pappy?).

Speaking of Pappy, my bottle of 21yo Pappy is almost out - anyone know where I can pick one up close to Toronto (i.e. Buffalo or Niagara Falls)?

gotta say, after using the boss jack le its now one of my very favorite knives.its the perfect size and weight to belt carry for hikes or throw into a pack.and the handles fit my hands perfect.cant say enough good things about it:thumbup:thanks jerry!

I am hoping it is like a shorter version of the DSF. It looks almost like perfection(the BAIII being perfection).

I thought I was going to have to go Postal in the Post Office today, but better late than never. Thanks BC gang.
