Boss, Jerry, Janitor!! Will there be a NMFSH-CG and if so ...

How many knives have ever been released in the limited satin version only? I would wager the cg is not far behind.

Jerry has lots of kids to feed....Combat Grade will show up sometime.....probably two weeks...

The return of the SFNO was as an LE only, not counting the CS versions that trickled out at shows.

If similar blade specifications scratched the INFI itch, Jerry would be out of business. I just KNOW I need another one... :D

But if you want a more reasonable answer...I prefer the FSH blade shape.

Will the NMFSH-LE feel thicker in hand than an ASH-1 with mags? Love the feel of the ASH-1!

Fair enough. I was simply wondering why some are so disappointed there's not a CG NMFSH - RIGHT NOW - when there are other blades that have longed fill the bill of a thinner ~16" knife pretty closely (CGFBM, BWM). I do appreciate the marketing aspect of new releases and I happen to ecstatically welcome the NMFSHLE fatty! The negative (nearly hostile) commentary kind of weirds me out. I'd like a long skinny, too (> 18"), and, if the market demands, it'll see the light of day as well. The SYCKO 13 and the NMFSHLE have brightened up my drab existence... plenty of 1835 Texas Bourbon went into this incoherent post!

I read you loud and clear. There are plenty of options I've never even tried; 1311, BWM, B-11, etc...

In the interest of full disclosure, my CGFBM fulfills my needs for a chopper better than my HHFSH (and better than a hatchet IMHO). I would choose the CGFBM if I had to pair a chopper with a smaller knife in order to live inna' woods for the foreseeable future.

However, I do not live in a vacuum and am afforded the luxury of choice when it comes to my personal preference for a camp tool. If I knew I were going to have to chop things? The CGFBM would be a choice of necessity. BUT, the HHFSH remains my favorite Busse for reasons both intangible and practical - it will meet the CGFBM very close to the point of its full potential. Now, pair those intangible factors with a FSH that comes even closer to meeting the potential of the CGFBM? Here's my check card.

Would be good to know if CG will be coming out..
I missed out on ASH-1 CG.. Didn't know about Busse back then.

Since I have decided for certain I am passing on the LE, I will be all over a thinner CG, .18-.25, with mags. If it doesn't happen, I will be very happy with getting a second NMSHBM instead.
