Boss, Jerry, Janitor!! Will there be a NMFSH-CG and if so ...

^^^^^^I'm passing, too. Major fatties just don't appeal to me much. .25 is plenty. ;)

I am very glad to see something .32 come out of the Busse shop......there have been a huge number of thinner blades available for all of the " fatty haters " over the past several years, and the " fatty chasers " have been left out of the party.......now Busse is bringing out something for us.....please let us enjoy the moment......Fat Blades need love too.....

The NMFSH-LE will be a chopper through and through, right?

So which would make a better chopper, the 5/16" version that's coming or a thinner .25"? Would the added weight of the .32" blade be a chopping advantage or just tire out the arm? Maybe it depends on the arm ...

You said it Bro!!! I have plenty in the .1875 to .270, now it's time for some fat love with magnum grips. Plenty of junk in the trunk to hang on to:D

It would last longer, make better chopping and be tougher to break... and job would get done faster..
Hands can always get stronger and adjust.

Couldn't agree more...to me Busse is completely overbuilt blades...so make it fat. It's been too long since something fat came down the line.

The below pics leads me to believe there will be a CG version. I too will be all over a CG version or a Tigerhide LE version :D.

Since I have decided for certain I am passing on the LE, I will be all over a thinner CG, .18-.25, with mags. If it doesn't happen, I will be very happy with getting a second NMSHBM instead.

Yes,me too. I'll let this one pass but would love a .25 CG with choice of handles.
I'm sure Jerry will see the interest in it and come through.:D

Yesterday i used my new kz2 in my forest for about 8 hours cleaning out unwanted trees that steal light and nutrition from the trees i can make money on ... I use a chainsaw for most of the work but the kz2 for all branches not too big for it.. I do this for hundreds of hours every year so one can say i use a chopper more than the average camper... The kz2 is the best chopper i have ever had but i think it could be a bit more blade heavy. So my thoughts on fat blades is that if you want a blade between 9 and 13 inches to do the work you traditionally would use an axe for(a chopper is much more effective) the blade needs to be fat and heavy.. On the other hand if you are chopping lighter stuff a lighter chopper is better because it is faster and it is easier to stop the motion of the blade once the blade has gone through what ever you are chopping.. I guess what i am trying to say is Heavy blade for heavy work and lighter blade for lighter work....... Well anyway just my thoughts..... :D I am hoping to score a knife tonight..

There are no coated Combat Grade versions planned at this time. . .

Let's Drink!!!!!
