I've read far too many posts that seem to go back and forth regarding good vs. bad/ugly on Botach to trust them. Cougar is right on the money with his assessment. Too many backorders........get charged right away.......wait forever........blah-blah-blah.......

Although, to be completely honest here, (and yes I do know that I'm contradicting myself) I will admit that I do deal with them for one item and one item only. I just can't resist their price on Toshiba 123 batteries.:o But, if I could find these batteries somewhere cheaper from a more reliable/reputable source then that's where I'd be going. But for the time being I'll just call, check with them on stock, and order if they have it. No more internet orders with them.

Lets all be friendss now,"WE are the world,we are the children"lalalalalalalalalala. You really don't want to hear me sing in person though, its not a pretty sight:p

Dude! Don't deal with Botach, you will hae yourself. It's better to spend a few more bucks than go through the hassle, broken promises, and double talk that these guys will give you. Be warned, they are bad bad business!:(

Some people think that Botach sux. Some people think they are fine. Both are correct in light of their own personal experiences. Some have even found ways to pet the snake without getting bit. It costs them some extra diligence (calling and checking stock, etc.) and saves them a little money. Also great. For my own experience, I have found that they are a bunch of bumbling idiots and they lie. It took 30 days of threatening to get a Visa charge reversed for a set of active hearing protectors that never shipped. I will pay a bit more to deal with a company that shows integrity. I will not shop at Botach. I want to help them go out of business. This post is just one little way that I can help. - Lee

You would think after enough charge backs the credit card companies would say, "heh, no way we are going to let Botach use us anymore at all!".

Wishful thinking I guess.

No problems on payment, they support our MSRP's, and order our products on a timely basis to support their retail sales.

...just sharing our experience.

'taint good, tain't totally rotten, but after this last experience(order placed on line, no acknowledgement till the articles arrived, and a selection error that will cost me some time and a few $$$ to correct...I'd give them an inch of doubt because it was over the holidays)I'm going to think three times. If another vendor is within 20% or so, they'll have my business.

Everyone loves a bargain, but next time I'm going to see what it actually *costs* to do business with a vendor.

I can't speak to the larger issue but I can tell you I'll never order from that outfit again. The completely screwed up my order and it took them weeks and a bunch of effort from me to get it right. Next time I'll order from someplace that doesn't cause such a hassle.

I had good experiences with them for the first few orders, they things went to 'hell in a handbasket' with all future orders...including the one i placed a few weeks ago. They get you with those low prices, then screw up the whole order. I don't understand why they have such a hard time with orders. I seems pretty simple to me: You review the order and 1) ship it to the customer, or 2) let the customer know what is out of stock and when it will arrive.
